Screencheat is a chaotic split-screen multiplayer shooter that forces players to rethink the way they approach conventional multiplayer games. In the Screencheat arena, fast reaction times aren’t enough to keep you alive. When everyone is invisible, players will have to master the art of taking a not-so sneaky look at their opponent’s screens and working out where they are based on uniquely coloured areas of the map and distinctive landmarks.

Screencheat pays homage to iconic competitive first-person shooters such as Goldeneye, Perfect Dark and Halo, by blending the elements everyone loves about those games and shaking it up with its own unique take on the genre. When everyone’s used to playing by the rules, can you adapt to unconventional gaming quick enough to get the upper hand?

Final Features:

  • Eight unique weapons – You won’t find any iron sights here, just weapons of chaos like the Blunderbuss, grenade launcher and the Chefolet pulse cannon.

  • Five colourful maps – Each map in Screencheat has been handcrafted to feature distinctive areas and landmarks to help you hunt down your opponents.

  • Four player split-screen local multiplayer, or four player split-screen online multiplayer

  • Controller support

  • Steam achievements + Trading Cards

  • May or may not be Lance Armstrong’s favourite game

A very interesting game.

A great game with great developers. The concept is easy to pickup but can be hard to master. All the stages are designed very well and you can always figure out where someone is while they can do the same to you. The gameplay is smooth and fast. Bugs do exist but they are rare and not game-breaking. It brought back a lot of memories from halo splitscreen and I would recommend Screencheat to anyone who wants a casual splitscreen shooter. As with many games, it is best enjoyed with friends.

It's like HALO except it's fun

At the beginning I was pretty much sceptic about this game but I'm glad that I was wrong. It is a great game for 4 player split-screen. It gives you a lot of fun to play it with your friends or a family because it's simple and amusing as it encourages cheating what is not a common idea. I think that you should get this if you're looking for a group activity that gives you a lot of fun and satisfation.

Brilliant Concept

The days of your siblings accusing you of screen cheating is over. This game puts together a confusing and yet brilliant idea to challenge everyone. Without being able to see people you must guess where they are from their surroundings on their screen. It obviously is a local experience so you will need to invite some friends over to play. With this game you have no excuse to be bored when you got people over.

Legal Cheating?

This game takes the number one rule of split-screen FPS gaming and flips it on its head, making it the number one rule of this game. To survive, you need to look at the screens of your opponents to figure out where they are, which is totally necessary since you can't see them on your screen either way. This makes for a pretty chaotic and fun-filled shooter match with friends, where people are frantically trying to reorient themselves with where the other players are based on the color of the room, or the identifiable landmarks in the stage. It's a lot of laughs, and it gives multiplayer shooters a neat little twist. This is especially fun for those who grew up in the 90s. Being allowed to screencheat is a liberating experience. This game is a good lot of fun.

You remember N64 Days?

So, you're having a huge Friday night party with some friend from school, three of them exactly, and you just got your new N64 WITH Goldeneye. You've been playing for an hour now, and the one friend is COMPLETELY beating the rest of you. THAT'S when you notice his little eye glance away from his square on the screen every few seconds. You realize that you friend has a terrible case of.... the screen cheating! WELL! if you've had problems with this before, look no further! Screen cheat will ALLOW you to screen cheat 24/7, because everyone is INVISIBLE! That's right! This game is an AWESOME game, that allows you to hunt down your friends with various weapons, and you're only able to see them by looking at THEIR screen! Very cool game!
