Bought it after few days of playing r6 siege

This game deserves more. It is so addictive and different. Worth your money and your time! Now back to killing some strangers.

A way to get characters early and to support the game

The content that is added to Rainbow Six Siege every month is free, everyone gets the patches, the new map, and the new characters. In order to play as the character you will have to buy them with in game currency for 20,000 each, currency is earned anytime you finish a match and you will get more if you win. If you really like the game but don't play it enough where buying all the characters comes easily the season pass will unlock them all a week before they release. The other offerings in the season pass really aren't that interesting, you can gain more in game currency but with the characters being free there isn't that much to do with it other than save it up to unlock some of the cosmetic items that don't require actual money. It's a great game but only buy this if getting the characters early and without having to spend renown is important to you.

Here, take my money Lord Tachanka!

Developers, I never really write reviews but I just have this to say, thanks. Thanks to all of you for continuing to improve the game and making it a better experience we can all enjoy. It's simply one of the greatest games of our generation. It's unique, it's innovative and it's different. I'm not spending $29 for the Year 2 DLC, no, I'm spending $29 to support you all for your ongoing efforts to improve the game. I just want to say thank you, and I'm looking forward to Year 2 and many more to come! Thanks!

Keep supporting this awesome game and i will buy season pass every year !

The game is only getting better, and to be honest my purchasing of the two season passes was really in support of the game and its continued development for all. If you don't buy them, no problem. The new maps are free for everyone, and the new operators each season can be earned through in-game play. Despite the barriers Ubisoft implemented ($60 launch, sketchy netcode at launch, microtransactions, and the requirement of Uplay), Siege is better than its ever been and there's never been a better time to jump in. No other game plays like Siege. I'm not a multiplayer person, but this game compelled me to buy a headset for communication despite anxiety about talking to people, even on the phone. I can say with no hyperbole that this game of violent chess helped me fall in love with multiplayer and taught me to communicate with people better. Ubisoft has never really fostered a long-time online infrastructure and playerbase, but they're honestly letting the Siege devs do whatever it takes to make it happen here. Built-in Twitch support, native PC development, Xinput and Directinput controller support with deadzone adjustment, and Uplay is really just a second client that opens when the game does. If $30 helps them make the free maps of 2017 the best yet, and to develop new operators that balance with and shine a spotlight on older ones, and I don't have to get them with renown...absolutely no problem. Jump in, it's never been better and they're improving all the time.
