Came for the platforming, stayed for the music

Jonhy4M

I'm personally not the biggest fan of platformers, but I had heard of this game from a friend and ended up playing it. The controls could use some work as there was a noticeable delay with each button press. Now, since I'm not very good at platformers to begin with, things got frustrating fast. The game's strengths, in my opinion, lie in its art style and soundtrack. Especially the soundtrack. Maybe I just needed more practice and/or skill to really enjoy this game, and the soundtrack did get me playing more than I otherwise would have - but I guess it wasn't enough. Maybe you'll have more fun with this game than I did.

Ideal game for play quick games with friends

Elexperto

It is not bad game for what it proposes, that is, short levels with a very fast and precise gameplay, in which we have to arrive as soon as possible, either to make a better time or to beat the opponent we face. Also, the option to add your music is your big point in favor. The levels are coupled with the music we add as far as rhythm is concerned, a little Beat Hazard style but in a platform game (although here we can see less). It's a game to play short games, because, personally, I ended up getting tired very fast, since it has no more incentives besides making the best time. There are no unlockables, no people are playing online .... it has stickers, and that's it. A graphic aspect that is very colorful and not bad, and a predetermined electronic music very typical of these games, although as I say, the great incentive is to be able to put your own. Game recommended if you play with friends. If not, you tire too soon.biref

Fun platformer

perikorozo

2D platformer with the bright colors, but little simplistic graphic. The soundtrack its at least a decent, but If you don?t like the default soundtrack, you can always customize it. It's a pretty alright platformer, good for 2-3 hours. Anyone who loves precision platformers will enjoy it quite a bit.

A Difficult Platformer

jtong2

If you like games like Super Meat Boy, you might want to check this one out. The idea is pretty much the same as Super Meat Boy. It's a platformer game that gradually gets harder, introducing new game mechanics as you progress the stages. The controls are a little shaky here and there. Sometimes it is hard to get your character to do what you want it to do. The music is great. This game is a decent in between game if you are taking a break from a bigger game. I like to play this in small sessions. Would definitely play this on my iphone. Wouldn't buy this for $9.99 though, but I've seen this go for about $1-2, which is more doable.

Good idea, bad execution

NeoJ

I know its flaws but I keep coming back to play it from time to time. Rush Bros is a rhythm-music platformer game featuring lots of levels where you are supposed to die thousands of times. The game features a competitive multiplayer mode where you race against your rival to the goal. This racing-platformer game is how it is supposed to be played, rather than a single player experience. Nowadays it is not easy to find people to play with, but it kind of work as a single player/ghost racing game. The problem is that, its main feature, works really bad. Rush Bros uses the beats of the song that is playing to set up the movement of the traps in the game. You can even import your own songs and apply them to the level to see how the traps move. It just doesn't work, and there is no feeling that it is actually going with the rhythm of the music. If you ask me nowadays , don't buy this game, but I can't deny I had a great time playing it.
