Act of War: Direct Action was an extremely underrated game, and one that was overshadowed by larger games being released. But it was a solid and fun experience. And High Treason is no different. While maybe a fraction behind the original (as many sequels are), it continues the exciting and fast gameplay of Direct Action. I love the focus on semi-realism and the real-world type scenarios that could have been ripped from the headlines in some ways. It is still a blast to play today, and in my mind, was better than many more well-known RTS titles that have come out since then. Highly recommended if you like the RTS genre. The graphics aren't next gen or anything (considering how old they are), but they are certainly good enough, even today. I wouldn't hesitate to jump in, especially for the price.
This is quite a good Real Time Strategy game. The graphics are good and even though this game is old, they have aged nicely and fit well. The music is good too. The gameplay is simple and addicting. Fights can get huge and detailed. You can build your own base to attack, and this game has naval units as well. Game features single player as well as multiplayer. There are no bugs and it runs smoothly. Overall, a great game that has held up well, 8/10.
