Highly Addicting and Fun

This is a game that someone can beat dozens of times without it getting stale. The variety of weapons and equipment makes every playthrough different and interesting. Every playable character has their own way of handling different situations, creating a different style of play for every engagement. However, to completely experience all Borderlands 2 has to offer, the second Vault Hunter Upgrade pack and the Headhunter packs are highly recommended. They provide several additional hours of gametime at a reasonable price. Borderlands 2 can get extremely difficult in the end game, and requires a good amount of farming for the guns needed to defeat some bosses. But when you combine those guns with the right equipment and skill selections, you will be able to dominate your way through the game like it was nothing.

Fun, Fun, Fun, Shoot, Shoot, Shoot

Borderlands 2 is among the best shoot and loot games there is, taking everything that was great about Borderlands and turning it up a notch. The story is fun and funny, the characters too. There is a simple premise to the game, kill all the enemies, grab all the guns and then do it again. And if you like it, you will, most likely a bunch of times! There is something addictive about coming back as a new character class to find a better set of guns with which to take out Handsome Jack and his minions. Graphically, this franchise is set apart from its peers by the comic book style look it has which works so well. Gameplay wise, it's on the button, everything about it is just right. Multiplayer is a blast. Five stars, excellent...

Beat this game twice and then some

This game was a trip for start to finish and I enjoyed every moment of it. The characters are lovable, the story is well crafted and the world is very fun to explore! I've logged about 100+ hours into this little adventure into madness and I wouldn't take them back for the world,

Best Game to Play With Friends

The best game to play with your friends! I mean, if you have friends. But if you don't, that's cool because the game is still fun as all heck. Including the DLC's, there's over 260 missions to complete in this game, so you're never quite done with the game. Loads and loads of loot with over 3.6 billion different varieties of weapons. 6 different playable characters (including 2 DLC) with plenty of powerful skills to learn over 50 levels (72 with DLC). Accompanied with hilarious humor across the whole game, this surely is worth the money your carelessly poured straight into this game. 10/10. Made me get all the achievements in this game.

Best Sequel ever made

Ahhh Borderlands 2. A sequel to already an awesome game developed by 2K Games. Back when I was still new to FPS's I mainly played Counter Strike so when I had the opportunity to check out Borderlands 1 I played it and I fell in love with it. However, the game had a big amount of flaws to me. The maps were buggy, the locations were boring, the last boss was a total joke, and the most important of all, the weapons and enemies are all uninteresting. Now let's fast forward to the time when Borderlands 2 came out. To be fair I was hesitating whether to play it or not but when I did, It was a completely different experience. The boring deserts and wastelands of Borderlands 1 were gone and in their place we got snowy mountains, cities, toxic caves, green hills and much more. The final boss fight with Handsome Jack was a lot cooler and a lot more satisfying than waiting for the bullet sponge boss of the 1st Borderlands to die. The attack patterns are unique and unpredictable plus the boss is using the enviroment which you fight it in and every characters skill can be used against him. Now, let's look at Borderlands 1 boss. He can only attack with 3 of his design attack and only 1 out of 4 available character's skill does something against him, a turret. Now let's look at the main aspect of borderlands. The 1.6 billion weapons. There are 8 weapon manufacturers in Borderlands. The first one Bandit focuses on magazine size and increased reload speed but otherwise below average stats. The second Dahl are burst-fire when aiming down sights and semi/fully automatic when firing from hip The third Hyperion have initially very low accuracy, but the more you shoot the better the accuracy is. The fourth Jakobs specialize in High damage and are always semi-automatic The fifth Maliwan always has a specified element attached to it from one of the four: Fire, Corrosion, Slag, Shock. The sixth Tediore have very fast reload times and are thrown like a grenade when they run our of ammo. The seventh Torgue always deal explosive damage And the last Vladof are known for a very high rate of fire. Additionally all the weapons have a specified theme, for example Jakobs has a western theme. Some weapons are unique in their own way, for example there is a pistol that never runs out of ammo, rocket launcher that makes nuclear explosion or even a shotgun that shoots swords that explode. Now into the enemies. The enemies in Borderlands 1 were mainly Bandits, Guardins of the Vault and Pandora's wildlife. In Borderlands 2 however they added more wildlife so even more things want you dead and added robots to the mix. If you don't feel like playing Borderlands 1 after this review don't be discouraged! It's still a great game. But if you really want to skip it, go ahead Borderlands 2 has a different plotline then the first one other than a few returning characters and minor references, so you won't be losing much. So in the end Borderlands 2 came out as an Excellent game and improved every aspect of the prequel and that's why I decided to give it a 5/5.
