This game surprised me with how good it was. The gameplay was pretty great, one to one controlling and it was as simple and easy to use. Core of it is the mechanics and vibe of it all. The mechanics set it differently than other horror games, sets it pretty far apart from others. And I really like them, they are great! The game is fun, story is good, graphics are not too dated, style/vibe is cool and unique. It's a good game with decent gameplay, a great vibe and a nice idea with some mechanics that set the bar up for this under-rated game.
A very creepy adventure, point-and-click game with an enchanting atmosphere. Not your typical kind of horror, more somber than anything you'd expect. Controls are a bit hard to work with and could be frustrating for people who are not familiar with its mechanics. Puzzles vary from mildly easy to requiring a walkthrough of sorts. Good game, great atmosphere, decent story.
Not a bad game overall. The hotel was really bad, as in good. It was totally creepy and disgusting. I really did get chills running up my arms more that a couple of times. I liked the idea that the inspector could change the bad things that had happened in the past. The ending was not a total let down as so many of the current adventure games seem to be.
