The great thing about this game is that its what we expect from the Deus Ex Universe; complex problems to be solved in a world that is tearing itself apart. Adam Jensen is in his usual place between people who want to help the world, people who are against him and other augs/non-augmented humans and of course people who pretend they're interested in help augs and humanity but have their own nefarious agendas. As a lot of people have said its too short but that tells me there will be another. If you enjoyed Deus Ex: Human Revolution you will enjoy Mankind divided. I will comment about the DLC within that category
The game overall is just as solid and amazing as any other Deus Ex game you've played, it's a direct continuation of Human Revolution, a lot has stayed the same, if you enjoyed the first one, you'll enjoy the second one equally if not even more. The negatives are the DLC and alternate game modes, aside from some flaws early on that got fixed and patched, some DLC is one use only, making it utterly pointless, unless you want to shell out for more items on one save, Breach mode is either fun or an endless nightmare depending on how you feel about it. Overall it's a great game if you like Deus Ex, but I would advise against buying any DLC outside of the Season Pass, get it on sale, you can enjoy it, and your wallet can enjoy it.
I'll be honest, I rather enjoyed the game while it lasted, but it abruptly ended and I never had any difficulty throughout the entire game, even on the difficulty setting "Give me Deus Ex" since the AI is braindead. Gorgeous graphics, it plays well, but you kind of forget about the experience once you stop playing. Overall, it's not as bad as my title makes it out to be (seriously, nothing is as bad as The Fall, do not play it, do not even look at it), it's just.. I dunno. The game doesn't stick with you like Human Revolution did. Overall.. it's good, but not great. Give it a try if you can get it for a fair price, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it full price.
Simply put, its the original Deus Ex (2000), with new era graphics, oh yes, a masterpiece, game is hard from the beginning and your hand will not be taken.
