There aren't enough turn based games being created these days, and Katauri Interactive didn't really add anything to this game from their previous title, they basically replaced the protagonist, and changed the story accordingly, the game is exactly like the one before it and the one to come after, fortunately that game was pretty good, so it worked out just fine. It does not detract from the game that it was basically the first game reworked with a new story, since after playing the first installment in the series you will be left wanting more. The game starts out slow and quickly ramps up to being quite challenging, there some of variation in your build paths, not much - but enough to keep you interested, the graphics and the music are delightful and quite unique to this developer. Altogether this series has been a great addition to the turn based genre and for all fans of those games I would say this series is a must have. I just hope that sometime in the future the developers find some new way to enrich the series because simply recreating the same game over and over and only changing the protagonist will get a old after the first couple of times.
The farther you get in to this game, the more thought (strategy) it will require. Things start off pretty easy but after a couple islands, the difficulty increases quickly. It's a good addition to the tactical rpgs already out there. It's the first King's Bounty I've played. Along the way, you have a dragon helping you. This dragon can be pretty useful after upgrading him sufficiently. If your units die in battle, they will not be coming back for the next fight. You will need to go buy more to replenish your ranks. You need to study their weaknesses and strengths.
King's Bounty : Armored Princess is one of the best games of the strategic role of recent times, the developers have not changed almost nothing compared to The Legend , merely insert new content and filing defects . The battlefields called from time to time provide the strategic layout of the forces available, each with a certain amount of possible movements carried out in a chessboard with hexagonal boxes and then with specific statistics and abilities, to allow many thousands of possible combinations. After the first few hours of gameplay , challenging but can be overcome without too many uncertainties , the rate of challenge grows exponentially and with it the need to carefully choose each unit , object, or magic. There is also the more strictly rpg that , whatever the initial choice between mage , warrior or paladin, offers a triple skill tree with many types of resources to access individual spells or to upgrade to the same. A schema rather classic but , in combination with the many objects to collect as loot or purchasable tramiti the appropriate vendors, which offers a more discreet customization .
