Game description

Fun shoot em up where you can become your worst enemy

Laser Disco Defenders is a disco styled top down twin stick shoot em up game that also takes place in space. The game features procedurally generated levels and is also a "self-inflicted bullet hell" where not only do you have to worry about enemy attacks but your shots will start to bounce off walls and objects and will also need to be avoided, even the shots that hit enemies. You will have enemies that will shoot at you, try to run into you, or stationary hazard that might get in your way or that might explode when hit. Your character will float around the level in whatever direction you are pushing the movement key or control stick but will start to drop if you aren't doing anything. The game allows you to pick from different characters that each have different health and speed values, not that interesting but each character can also unlock outfits that can give new passive benefits for protection or to improve their attacks. For a game with a music based premise I expected a more interesting and varied soundtrack. It's a fun rougelike shoot em up where you can be the biggest danger to yourself.
