A very good game with amazing graphics. It runs smoothly on my pc and the gameplay is awesome. You can get gunpowder units or focus on pikemen, theres so many possibilities. The units are balanced and the campaign is very fun but not so replayable since you know whats going to happen.
Many people may think that AOE3 is not good as Age of Empire II. I don't agree with it. The card system of this game definitely make the game much more fun and we can make use of this to make different kinds of strategy to defeat opponents. Even though it is a game long ago, It's still worth to buy it.
Age of Empires III cannot be faulted for its innovation. It introduced new and intriguing mechanics that deepened the complexity of Age of Empires II, but it fails to elicit any sort of enjoyment. It is plagued with repetitive games, similar civilization, bloated features, and a sense of tackiness. Nevertheless, it is a good game.
Age Of Empires III is an fantastic game even for one of the older games, it's definitely one of the best older games you'll find here! Select between many countries and defend your home city in skirmish mode, play online multiplayer with up to 8 players! Create a home city and level up to customise it! Make cities, forts, and train soldiers and war ships to defend your base with over 50 new maps to try out and explore! Create your own heroic explorer for your country and use him/her in skirmish mode! Play the exciting 3 original campaigns stories with 2 new campaign stories to enjoy with the DLCS installed! There is loads to do in this game and it just never get's old, always loved playing this game. One of my all time favourite! In-game music is great and the graphics are pretty good and you can create your own levels/maps with the scenario editor! Have fun using brand new hilarious cheat console commands lol :-D Classic World war game, much fun and is absolutely fantastic! Best age of empires game by a long shot!
AoE 3, is a deep experience, but, it's also a flawed one. Why? For starters, it's jump into the 3d realm, leaves everything feeling...small. The maps are smaller, the campaigns are smaller, the AI is smaller. Everything feels small. It's not a bad thing, it's just not epic. Another thing, the price tag is a hefty one for a game that's fast approaching its 11th birthday. The game plays as it should, and its introduction to Steam streamlined the online playability. It also introduced the card options which, to me, made the game that much more fun. Online play is steady, with very little lag and drops. My recommendation, buy it on sale, then get 2 copies so you can play a friend, which is what makes the game a blast.
