Very hard game in which you will die a lot!

Old good platformer. Every few years I come back to it and still have the same fun playing. It is true that it is so linear that is hurts, but it is still surprising experience. Screw something up and repeat from the checkpoint, that's the main premise of the game. The game was revolutionary in terms of graphics when it was released and frankly speaking it still looks amazing to this day. Another World is an all time classic that managed be playable even now, just be warned it's ridiculously hard and you will die a lot.

Buy it. As soon as the price is good for you, get involved with this game like it was your childhood friend that you lost touch with a long time ago and have now had the pleasure to meet again and realize they are a wonderful being and attractive in everyway. Not good enough for you? It's got some platforming and action, with some elements of puzzle. There is also a modest narrative. Simplicity and perfection are the motto for this games mechanics and design. From the moment your eyes meet the iconic art style, and you die a couple of times in the first five minutes of the game, you should be feeling a wealth of bliss and excitement, as you have just entered a whole new level of classic video game perfection. This game feels incredibly timeless. The story and presentation were groundbreaking for its time and still pleasant today. If you feel up to a challenge try playing through this on hard mode (the hard mode was actually the original games normal mode until people started passing out and vomitting in theaters or whatever).

Remaster of a remaster

Another World (or Out of this World is some parts of the world) is a cult classic platformer-adventure game. If you remember original Prince of Persia (not 3D or Sands of Time ones), which got re-made some years ago (go play it now!), then this game is more or less like this, minus the sword fighting and more puzzle solving. For 20th Anniversary Edition, the graphics got slight overhaul and sound also got remastered, however in my opinion sound was better in 15th Anniversary Edition and that one was also more stable, because this one can be incredibly crashprone. Just remember that before buying. Great game to play even today, especially with remastered graphics, because the art direction in this game is actually timeless and even some indie games don't look as interesting. Great journey, and not of a bad lenght (5-10 hours), so it is hard not to recommend this game.

Great art

An epic landmark in the gaming world. This title still holds the magic it did years ago. With an art style that still blows me away considering it's era and the unique feeling of revisiting an old friend, this is still a title not to be overlooked by new gamers or the old school fan. Brilliant proof of the power of artistic creation breaking the barrier of time and generations. Highly suggested!

Game for the ages

Another World is a classic with fantastic visuals, great sound, and an amazing story told without a single line of dialogue. Prepare to solve puzzles, run and jump out of danger, and shoot aliens with laser guns, all with a constant feeling of gloom, danger, and excitement mixed together. Gone are the days of entering codes to continue, and the remake features convenient checkpoints. My only complaint are the two puzzles toward the end of the game, which can be very hard to figure out if you are good at the action part of the game. Rule of thumb here is that if the game refuses to save your progress, you have missed something important that is required to proceed later on. In all other aspects, this game is out of this world, and should be played by everyone.
