Game for the ages

Another World is a classic with fantastic visuals, great sound, and an amazing story told without a single line of dialogue. Prepare to solve puzzles, run and jump out of danger, and shoot aliens with laser guns, all with a constant feeling of gloom, danger, and excitement mixed together. Gone are the days of entering codes to continue, and the remake features convenient checkpoints. My only complaint are the two puzzles toward the end of the game, which can be very hard to figure out if you are good at the action part of the game. Rule of thumb here is that if the game refuses to save your progress, you have missed something important that is required to proceed later on. In all other aspects, this game is out of this world, and should be played by everyone.

Revolution

Back in the days when Amiga 500 ruled the world, there were a lot of great games on the market. In such a tough competition, Another world stood out as one of the games with greatest graphics at the time and maybe with one of the best intros ever. I played that intro over and over again. The one thing that stood out is THE GRAPHICS. Beautiful animation with fantastic alien world tough to fit in, this game brought the revolution in the genre of arcade adventures. For every fan of the 90's, it was only a matter of time that the remake will hit the shelves. AT LAST ... We can now play it on PC in HD thanks to great gaming community. For every gamer that likes to push to the limits, this is THE GAME ! Tough choices in nick of time with brutal AI brings us ANOTHER WORLD ON ANOTHER LEVEL. Enjoy everyone ......

I Love The Original, You'll Love This Remaster

The original was so great in its story-telling elements and how everything was presented without words. I loved the pacing and action in the game, and when this came out, I was immediately drawn to it. The remastered edition looks amazing, and this is perfect for old fans of this game like me. For the newer gaming community, this version is perfect for them. It cleans up the graphics a bit, and updates the sounds as well, but still delivers the same great story and action to the gamer. You've read the other reviews. What are you still doing here? Buy this game!

Shut up and give them your money.

I have loved this game since I was a small child experimenting with curse words slung in the direction and that damned fanged slug. This game is tough. It comes from a time long ago before all the hand holding. It is also beautiful and memorizing. I couldn't remember the name of this game for many years. I only had memories of laser guns a death. I digress though. Buy this game. It is worth every penny.

A Titillating Adventure

I still remember the first time I saw Another World. It was on an Amiga 500 and on a friend's machine. Just seeing the intro made it seem so interesting and mysterious and atmospheric to the young kid I was then. Later, I was an adult, with my own family and a steady income. And I saw this game again, this time in an internet game store. Wooosh! I was instantly a child again, wanting to try this game. Needless to say, I eventually bought this and haven't regretted it a bit. It is as atmospheric as it used to be, as mysterious and hard as it used to be. I have yet to finish the game but I can tell you this: The game has tough controls but not too unfair, iconic I'd say. The game has an interesting and unrelentless mysterious environment to explore. The game has challenges that will make you gnash your teeth like few games nowadays will. You Will Remember This Game. It will leave a mark in you. Just try it.
