Army Men II, the sequel to the best-selling title Army Men, takes plastic toy soldier warfare into the kitchen, bedroom, front yard, and garage. Once again Sarge will lead his heroic Green forces into head-melting, plastic-body-part-exploding, combat mayhem; only this time the battle is for control of the kitchen sink!

Army Men II is an easier game and more focused on being a more action oriented shooter than the first, though it does add in some light RPG elements with the squad that joins you. Units will join you and stay with you between missions, leveling up if they survive, this gives you more use for allies than the first game where they were there more as bullet shields or just as objectives. The game is made easier than the first, both by design and by allowing you to save the game wherever you want. A new household environment changes up the more warlike feel for something closer to children playing with their Army Men figures around the house. If you enjoyed the series in the past you can still have some fun with the game now. They did remove the skirmish mode against the AI for some reason though (maybe not thinking through what they were doing when they removed the multiplayer).
