Be the Batman

Batman Arkham Asylum is one of the best game that I have ever played (and I played A LOT). This game captures the concept of "Be the Batman" in a really perfect way. I really felt like controlling the REAL Batman when I played this game. Pros: + GREAT story. + GREAT gameplay. + GREAT fighting system. Free Flow Combat is the best fighting system that I've ever seen. + GREAT array of gadgets, allowing you to take down enemies with your own style. + GREAT sound. + GREAT atmosphere. + GREAT graphics, with quite a low system requirement. + GREAT characters and voice acting, the characters really felt like they are coming right out of the comics. Cons: - Camera angles when fighting the Scarecrow sometimes a bit annoying, but still acceptable. Overall: 98/100 BE THE BATMAN

Deserves all the praise it's got

Batman: Arkham Asylum is the Batman game you've always wanted. The fighting is top-notch and the stealth is satisfying, and the story progressions blends the two aspects seamlessly into a succession of encounters that will make you meditate every time on what approach is going to work best. Production values through the roof.

HAAAHAHAHAAAAAA -The Joker

This is by far one of my favorite games to play in my free time! I enjoy all of the missions, the mix of stealth and story, as well as all of the gadgets. I love the joker, the boss battles, and so much more! My favorite boss battle is with the Scarecrow, especially with the fact that you had to hide from his giant eyes! Also, the gripes I have about the game are the A.I. alert radius, since you can easily evade an enemy from their view, only to have them literally forget that he was there. The bosses may be the only smart A. I. in the game. Regardless, the graphics are great and the story is phenomenal!

The beginning of one of the best series ever

So, you thought there was no way to make a perfect superhero game? You really thought that beat 'em up games like Streets of Rage or Final Fight were things from the past? Well, here comes Batman to prove you wrong. Batman: Arkham Asylum came our of nowhere to stay, and oh boy, how it did! One of the best games ever. Lots of hours of fun, insane graphics -still better than most of the AAA games released today- unique gameplay with a combat system that would inspire an entire generation -you can see its influence in almost every single day of the genre nowadays- and the best experience to feel yourself like the real Batman.

Amazing Experience

Finally there is a good Batman game that actually makes you feel like Batman. You are able to use cool gadgets in order to solve puzzles and fight in combat. The stealth is good enough to where you can clear rooms with stealth. The story also is actually interesting, and keeps you wanting to know more. It also includes a great cast of villains to oppose. Though there are some flaws and stupid glitches that occurs. Yet the game overcomes that making one solid game experience
