Bombing Bastards is Bomberman for PC and let's be honest, we need clones like that as Bomberman was and still is a great game so even though we will not find anything too original in this title it's still worth buying just to relive the great mechanics the original title introduced. Worth checking out as the game offers fun gameplay, especially in multiplayer.
It really looks like a bomberman clone for PC. The game is a puzzle/action with blow 'em up style. It offers a solid experience with nice graphics, 5 player battle and so on. The story mode is challenging/frustrating where enemies can dodge your bombs, shoot back and break blocks. There's also a few environmental hazards to deal with. Gameplay is simple: you drop bombs left and right and try to destroy the creatures on your screen, but watch to not get yourself bombed. It also offers a few upgrades for your character/bombs. Controls are easy to handle, but you can't rebind them. Graphics are good for today's standards. Overall, 7/10 for people new to the genre, 9/10 for Bomberman veterans.
Finally! The best Bomberman-like title of all times for pc is here and we can play it, paying a little price for tons of fun! We have battle modes, where you blow up other players, and a single player campaign mode, where you blast tricky monsters and bosses, pleasant and actually rather hard, where you really have to show your skills to beat the game. Full of crazy power ups, plenty of many different enemies, with a very nice graphic aspect, Bombing Bastards is a real surprise: even if nothing is completely new, this is the real plus of a game that has the ability to gather together all the best aspects of its noble precursor and all its clones. I think that isn't necessary to spend more words: if you liked Bomberman in the past, you will love Bombing Bastards right now. And if it's so, the game is definitely a worth buy.
