Reviews for Borderlands Pack

This is a must buy. I loved Borderlands 1 and the second was just a major improvement. Now with this bundle you can get the Game of the Year edition and extra content. Of course make sure you like the game before you buy it because its 90 bucks. But it is worth all of the money.

A serious pack for a serious gamer

If you want to get rid of your child for weeks, buy him this pack. It gives literally hundreds of hours of exciting, bloody, challenging gameplay in a universe of endless fantasy. The best co-op game with unforgettable ad-ons topped by a very best second part with dlc-s featuring new challenges. Buy this, and soon you will be browse the searching for some more...

Two great games in one pack

Both Borderlands games are very addicting and enjoyable RPG/Shooter. The "loot" system also make you want to keep playing to try and get the best weapon possible as you will probably never see the same gun twice. Borderlands also has co-op for the entire story. While the story may be a little weak or disappointing, it's not really the main focus of the game. The gameplay, looting and the co-op if you are interested in that, will keep you playing the game for quite some time.

Nice pack.

The first Borderlands really rocked my world when I played it for the first time. I just couldn't stop playing. If you play Borderlands in co op, just be prepared to be addicted to the game's humor and constant action. You will want to venture out and loot the best guns, and to do this you will have to play a lot and do the game over and over again. However, it is fun to do so. You do not get bored easily. Borderlands 2 takes everything Borderlands did and does it better. The new classes are neat, the graphics are retouched, the campaign is better, and the randomized loot is now present than ever. If you can buy this back at a discount price, I suggest you do so.

Excellent game

The world of Pandora in Borderlands is synonymous with Pandora from James Cameron's blockbuster, Avatar. Computer generated, beautiful and most importantly deadly. Thankfully, that is as far as their similarities go. The game is difficult to recommend to hardcore fans of either FPS or RPG games -the two genres it mashes together- as it is a little too FPS for an RPG and a little too RPG for an FPS. This is not to say it is a bad thing but perhaps some gamers may find it difficult to get into. Personally, I feel that Gearbox have done an excellent job at piecing these genres together and any loose ends in doing so from the first installment have been clearly cleaned up and improved upon the second time around. I would say though that to a newcomer to the series it may not be worthwhile investing in the first game as apart from a few references in the second there isn't any story to miss out on. If you are a completionist or are just excited about having the full experience then their is no real reason to avoid it. Overall, the two games are excellent and being offered both with all current DLC is an opportunity not to miss.
