Breached is a small sandbox rougelike game that begins with you waking up from cryogenic to discover that your shelter is damaged and that you have eight days to try to repair it to restore life support. Gameplay comes from you deciding if you want to spend your time hacking to repair the shelter's generator, created fuel for the generator from minerals, or controlling a drone to scavenge the area for needed resources. At the end of each day your character writes a long and you are able to choose words to read past logs to learn more of the story and to effect possible endings. You can learn about the world you inhabit and its history through your exploration with the drone, though you only have three different locations to play on and none of them are that large. There are potential hazards for your drone but avoiding them will just come from memorization, as the maps aren't generated and will not change on you from playthrough to playthrough. With the low price the game can be worth a purchase for those interested in learning about the game's story and world but the dull mechanics and lack of content will turn off many players. The Futurist Edition comes with the usual extras of a digital special edition, wallpapers, art, and a soundtrack but for a more reasonable price then many other games. The comic and news pack might be something you want if you are interested in the game world but to know that you would probably want to play the game first. If you wanted to support the developer you can buy it but most people won't have much of a reason to. The Futurist Edition content can also be bought on Steam separately if you want to play the game first before deciding to buy it or not. A decent price for the extras but not necessary.
