Like breaking things and things like that? And like to just shoot? Love action? Then this game is definitely for you! This game might just be a 2D pixel graphics game, but it's more then that it's a masterpiece! First time I played it I had a lot of fun with my friend and we loved the characters, sound effects and pretty much the whole game! We loved to just shoot the enemies and explode everything we could. The game developers did a great job on this game and they made sure this game won't get boring.
Look, Broforce is a 2-D game, which is really fun. Plus, you can local / online CO-OP play this game which is extra fun. Obviously, you see from the game screenshots how the game is. Many characters are involved at Broforce, a few to name are... Predator, Expendables, Chuck Norris. Each character have unique weapons and special abilities. I like how the guy scream with that voice either you win or lose or enter a stage, etc etc. It's funny sometimes. One fact of the game is that you can shoot anywhere and possibly be destroyed, which is good for some occations where you will need to do that. Broforce, generally, has a lot of action. It's a good game, and the CO OP is really fun, plus if you're looking for local co op, Broforce does that too!
This is by far one of the greatest games I've EVER played. Everything from the trailer to the screams of the dying is hilarious. The game knows it, the developers know it and I think I heard my computer chuckling to itself while playing this game. The greatest part of it is the ability to create and download custom campaigns from the internet, which drastically extends the awesomeness of the game!
Before I have bought this game I have play the free game Expendabros by the same developer. To get an idea of what Broforce is, I can only strongly recommend you to do so as well. This aside, Broforce is exclusively played in 2-D. The main goal of most of the levels is to reach the right end of the level and kill "Satan", who will always sit on the exit point. Does sound rather simply, but makes a lot of fun due to fluent gameplay, great controls and nice pixel-art effects. However, what makes Broforce really stand out, are the many references to (mainly) 80's action movies. For example the characters you play are all named similar to classical action-movie characters (e.g. the Brominator). And this game also pretty much feels like an 80's action movie to play, which basically means: a lot of explosions, a lot of blood, and close to no story line. For me personally tho, the references made more than up for lack of story. But someone who will not understand those references might have not the same experience, since the game is centered around this. Additionally, this game offers up to 4-player coop (also couch-coop). For fans of 80's action movies, who do not mind the pixel look, a clear recommendation.
By itself this is an excellent game. The controls are polished, the action is fast, and the content is hilarious. This increases dramatically when you play with a couple of friends on splitscreen. The intense run-and-gun action increasingly becomes a matter of the last-player-standing trying to heroically respawn team mates before being wiped out. As well as all this, it seems that this game keeps getting updates. New characters to unlock and get pumped about.
