Reviews for Call of Duty: Black Ops II

Spanish Review of Call of duty Black ops 2 - Review en espa?ol de Call of duty: Black ops 2.

Greatest cod game

Black ops two is my favourite cod game and it has everything you need, interesting story, tons of weapons and my favourite game mode, zombies. The maps are fun to play with friends and by yourself as well with many different maps and increasing difficulty as you progress through the rounds. Love it and it gave me tons of fun.

Okay, but not good enough.

What was before a 60 dollar game (on release) i would say its not worth it at all, at like 20-30 i would say its pretty much worth the game, makes much fun, combat is either easy or hard (depends on mode) one problem i got with this game is its actual player base. They're either kids or are really bad at it. As to the campaign there is not much to say besides that its really generic, buy it at a sale or at best for free.

Nothing new

I can't say it is a bad game, but I praised Black Ops for its story and that's exactly what fails in this second establishment of the Black Ops series. It is not only that there are some impossible situations in Black Ops II regarding the story from the first time, it is also that it is a way less engaging story, and you stopped caring about the characters while that's exactly the opposite that happened in the first game. So, no, Black Ops II is not that game you should play for its story. What about gameplay then? Just the classic Call of Duty gameplay with nothing new to offer. It is good, don't be wrong, but not worth it. Online gaming wasn't any better and I still recommend to go for Modern Warfare 2 if you are looking for an online Call of Duty.

Pretty good. Not groundbreaking, but for CoD it's good.

I've played so much of this on console for a really long time. This is probably one of my favorite Call of Duties. As a fan of RPGs, I absolutely love how they incorporated a few RPG elements in the campaign, such as multiple endings and customization. Best CoD campaign to date, with a nice story along with Black Ops I. It really had those "Classic CoD" moments where you feel like "OH SHIT THATS SO COOL" but the core gameplay was still mostly a shooting gallery, as is the rest of the game. Zombies is fun. You run around killing zombies and earning upgrades. It's fun, if a bit shallow. Multiplayer is the same. Nothing more, nothing less. It's a good, but tired, formula that makes the game feel too samey. Overall, a good buy if you can pick this up for <15.00 like I did. You'll have fun with friends in zombies/multiplayer, and by yourself in campaign.
