Classic Adventure Pack includes five different old adventure games. Dragonsphere might be the more well known game in the bundle with younger gamers as it was free on GOG for a few years, it's a game inspired by Kings Quest, it's a good looking game for the time with a good twist and some amusing moments but is a typical fantasy style story besides that. BloodNet has an interesting cyberpunk and vampire setting but feels dated in a lot of ways and throws you into the game with little knowledge of what to do or how to do it. It's a got a nice style to it and looks good but is mostly forgettable otherwise and hasn't aged well. Though it might look and feel dated, Darklands is a great game with an excellent setting that combines a realistic 15th century German with German folklore. It is mostly a sandbox game where you create a party and are dropped into a random town. It's a very non linear game with elements that are rarely seen in other games, losing a fight to guards can have yo imprisoned and require you to escape from the law, losing to thieves can leave you alive but with all your supplies stolen, and the game combines choose your own adventure text segments with overworld exploration and combat maps. Rex Nebular and the Cosmic Gender Bender is a comedic scifi point and click adventure game, it has some funny moments but does feel like the early point and click game that it is with a lot of pixel hunting and grabbing everything to interact with obstacles in strange ways, not a bad game but not up to the quality of similar Lucasarts titles. Sword of the Samurai is the oldest title in the collection, and it looks it, but it is a really good game. You play as a samurai that can take land, lead armies in tactical battles, fight duels, and can take on tasks to improve your honor and standing. You start serving a clan along with other rival samurai who can also increase their own standing or who can be killed while attempting to take on tasks for their lord. The goal of the game is to become Shogun and you are given information about what happens after the game based on your final score. An old game but still enjoyable. The price of this collection may not be right depending on how many games you want but it it does include some good and really good games.
