Wasn't expecting too much from this game, what I found was an extremely charming casual Kings Bounty style turn-based rouglike that kept me engaged far longer than I anticipated. The Mercenaries are fun to unlock and learn how to play. It can be frustratingly difficult but on easy it becomes very casual. The maps may be instanced, but it doesn't take long to figure out where to head if you don't want to explore. I'm sure I'll come back to this title to unlock the final 2 mercenaries I haven't found. Need more games like this that are immersive, but not overbearingly long.
This game does feel Rougue-like but it's turned based which is quite unique but not up to my expectations. I play many table-top games/Board games. This certainly feels like one. But with a twist of RPG elements like gathering resources, leveling and grinding of course. Gameplay feels normal. What i really like is exploring the unknown. There is no map or directory on which path is the best way to complete the game. But instead you just explore the fog of war/black spaces. And your path will unfold before you. Many paths in game and doesn't feel like you have taken the same path before.
Crowntakers is a turn-based strategy role playing game (RPG). It has unique artwork which i really like. The music is really well done and the sound effects too. The plain of the gameplay is on a hexagon generated field. On a start of a new game the field is randomly generated. There are four plains you can go to. There is exploration for hour with many different characters like archer, wizard, scout. It has a crafting system, which is cool and resources for your needs. It has a level system and best of all, multiple endings. It is really cool and I'm sure its worth to look at
