Cyber Chicken is 2.5D side-scrolling, rollicking adventure featuring 8', 375 pounds of cybernetic poultry as a futuristic killing machine on a quixotic mission to save the World from itself. A satirical romp across pop culture and modern life, the comic-book styled game features weapon-based gameplay, platforming elements and puzzles in a metrovania-designed World.
The story follows Cyber Chicken as he sets out to suppress a cyberpunk revolt in the dystopian New York City of the future. Cyber Chicken soon realizes he's been played the fool and must confront intergalactic forces spanning dimensions of time. From his mayhem-laced adventures into modern day New York City, Cyber Chicken reveals a grand conspiracy involving the likes of Big Bucks Coffee, The Fakebook and the intergalactic leader himself, GW!
Though humor is at the core, the experience is layered with rich and varied influences from literary, film, comic and video game classics, including Don Quixote, Brave New World, Terminator, Blade Runner, Batman, Duke Nukem and Super Metroid.

The people, locations, companies and events depicted are entirely FICTIONAL. We’re serious, there really is no such thing as a cybernetic poultry terminator from the future! Any resemblance to real people, places and companies is purely coincidental. Honest! Take for instance, ‘The Fakebook’… that just sounds kinda cool, right? Not buying it? Well, then we absolutely insist that any non-coincidental resemblance should be viewed as our saying we think there’s something amusing here. So yea, the game is definitely not endorsed by whomever might resemble Ronald Dump or Big Bucks Coffee, though we’re not adverse to product placement opps in sequel products! Keep in mind, that’s one way to ensure we don’t make fun of you next time! Interested parties please contact us.
Unrealistic, low poly graphics, bad animation, bad effects, nothing good about this game. It's not even worth the price. Unrecommended.
Cyber Chicken is a cyberpunk side scrolling action game where you play as a cybered up chicken that sounds like Arnold Schwarzenegger. You will jump, shoot, and punch your way through levels while collecting money that can be spent at vendor stations for upgrades or for more health or coffee needed to activate your bullet time abilities. The storyline is cheesy and amusing and the gameplay is decent, it is nothing amazing but for $10 or $11 it can be entertaining game while it lasts if you are looking for a side scroller.
You are Chicken-Terminator, so punch and shoot everything, upgrade yours skills and weapons to eliminate all enemies. Interesting and insane 2.5D platformer with tons of humor for a few evenings.
Cyber Chicken is a 2.5d shooter platformer. The graphics are really good and the gameplay is surprisingly fun. You'll jump, slide, kick, throw grenades and shoot, all with a bullet time button at your disposal. The game follows a metroidvania style, where you have this "open world" and you backtrack and discover new areas. Overall, if you like platformers, especially ones with injected humor, you'll like Cyber Chicken.
Think of this as a comedic version of Shadow Complex with injections of the old 2D Duke Nukem games. The game isn't fully open world like a true metroidvania game, but broken into levels that have you revisiting them with your new upgrades similar to how Megaman did it. The controls are responsive (and fully remappable), graphics look good, and the game is actually pretty funny. Some jokes miss, but that's bound to happen when they try one basically every interaction. Entertaining nonetheless. The game has quite a few upgrades to weapons and your character (doublejumps, ground slams, dashing, etc) changing up how you play and what weapons you favour for different situations. The shooting is different than most 2.5D shooters, you actually have to aim at the target for most weapons, not just behind or in the general direction. I liked this aspect. Pretty solid game, check it out if you're into Shadow Complex, Guacamelee, Duke Nukem, etc.
