You're a member of the U.S. Army's best kept secret: the elite SPECIAL OPERATIONS unit known as Delta Force, formed to BATTLE TERRORISM throughout the world. When the best of the rest can't handle the op, YOU are called into action. Can you handle THE JOB?
Delta Force 2 has slightly better graphics and more buildings but it uses the same engine that Delta Force 1 uses, and because of that the game feels like a add-on to the first game, and not a new game in itself. I also find missions to be harder than the first game, there's nothing much I can say about this game, if you like Delta Force 1 you will also like this one as well.
Delta Force 2 released a little over a year after the first game and in many ways feels more like a mission pack. The game includes two campaigns, these are both longer than a single campaign in the original game but the original also had five. Even with the limited number of campaigns you will see varied locations and there is a variety of quick missions that you can choose to play. The graphics have been improved somewhat with better textures, there is some new weapons to use, and an odd interface choice of showing your amount of ammunition with a bar instead of a number. Gameplay wise you will have same kind of missions but with some maps having multiple objectives and the same AI with enemies and allies. It's more difficult to recommend now but if you enjoyed the first one you will enjoy this, if you haven't played the first and want to try one then this one is probably the better option with the few improvements they have made.
