One of the best Delta Force games

The first Delta Force game was my favorite, but Delta Force Land Warrior is one of the best Delta Force games in my opinion, Better graphics, more buildings and more memorable missions with the Egyptian one beings the best. Delta Force feels like an adventure game on some missions, for example the Egyptian one has pyramids where you have to go in to rescue people, and there are secret passages inside alongside the maze-y rooms and paths. Sounds is even better than the first two Delta Force games but I can't say the same for the gun graphics, they made the guns you hold 2D! Maybe to gain better performance but I liked the DF1 and DF2's guns better. A.I. isn't great, I don't see any improvement from Delta Force 1 and 2 but the game is still very enjoyable. Speaking of gameplay, I find Delta Force Land Warrior very relaxing - just turn some good music on and go straight in the game, for a military game they didn't make it intense at all.

Was showing age even at release and has a few AI issues

Delta Force Land Warrior is the third game in the Delta Force series and, like the second game, released a year after the previous title. Land Warrior sees the use of a new engine with graphical and animation improvements, the new gun models don't look that good but now it will at least remove them from the screen during reloads. The game didn't look that good at release and has not aged well, the smoother looking environment does make it easier to notice enemies. The gameplay remains the same only now you can choose from a few different characters and their is a story. At this point the gameplay had not aged as well even for the time as the enemies have very poor AI and you now have the ability to use an overpowered silenced sniper rifle. The sound hasn't been improved much and many of it is reused. If you like playing older games you can have some fun with this one but it was only an ok title when it released and has not aged well.
