Delta Force: Xtreme 2 is a 2009 sequel to the sixth game in the Delta Force series. At this point they seem to have given up on improving on anything both gameplay wise and visually. The game looked like it should have been released years before 2009, AI still barely reacts to anything, allied soldiers tend to just sit at checkpoints, and guns have no weight or different feel to them. The story is still non existent with the exception of some briefings at the start of each mission. There are now only two campaigns and each mission has checkpoints where you will restart if you die, enemies killed will remain dead. There was once again a focus on multiplayer content but in 2009 there was no way this could hold up to the other games that were available at the time.
