Distant Star: Revenant Fleet is a real-time, space-strategy game for PC, featuring fleet-based combat with persistent ship upgrades in a dynamically generated galaxy.
In Distant Star: Revenant Fleet, you take control of the last remaining ships of a near-destroyed A’kari fleet, and must rebuild your forces as you battle through ancient, galactic battlefields towards a final showdown with the Orthani.

Distant Star: Revenant Fleet combines fast-paced RTS gameplay with roguelike elements. You can mix and match your small fleet of ships, upgrade their weapons, gain experience, new skills and traverse the galaxy, system by system, experiencing a series of mission types. Each sector in the galaxy and the missions within each system are dynamically generated so each playthrough is a different experience. Story events offer you a range of choices which may affect whether or not you are attacked (or you attack your enemy), are rewarded or the option to upgrade your ships.

Distant Star: Revenant Fleet, as you have to know, is an early access game, so it lacks some contents and isn’t completely finished. But, after spending lots of hours playing it, I can say that it’s plenty of stuff right now and promises important evolutions for the future. Surely, Distant Star: Revenant Fleet has a lot of potential: it's a fleet based combat game set on the solid, typical structure of real time space strategy titles. Your choices are always central for your future missions, particularly the way you customize your fleet. The graphic aspect is beautiful, the gameplay is original and pleasant, especially if you love rogue like games and, this is a very interesting aspect of the game, the space sectors is randomly generated, so Distant Star: Revenant Fleet has also a very intriguing replayability. As I said at the beginning, Distant Star: Revenant Fleet is still in its early access period but, as I could experience so far, the developers are working very well and very hard and I think they will complete their work in a short while. Although the game isn’t already perfectly balanced, particularly because of its difficulty level, sometimes too high for the incredible number of enemies you have to face, the developers are also fixing this problem right now, and the results are clear by now. In short, today I see a very good game with some minor issues and lots of fun, whereas further we will have a great game that really worths its price and, maybe, could value much more in the future.
