In DUNGEON SIEGE III: TREASURES OF THE SUN, players will extend their journey and travel beyond the borders of Ehb to an all-new environment: the Aranoi Desert. On their search for a lost Legion hero, players will fight through hordes of new villains only to find a forgotten abbey hiding a long-lost secret: the greatest treasure of the Azunite faith.
Further supporting the hours of new content in the expansion, developer Obsidian Entertainment has introduced several refinements to the systems and mechanics of DUNGEON SIEGE III.
Key Features:
New abilities: Players will be able to attain mastery of the arcane through powerful new attack, defence and healing abilities.
Level up to 35: DUNGEON SIEGE III: TREASURES OF THE SUN will further power-up players by raising DUNGEON SIEGE III's existing level cap from 30 to 35.
More monsters and items: Players will encounter new monsters in the Aranoi Desert—including mummies and giant skeletons—and will find more powerful items, adding to the thousands already available in DUNGEON SIEGE III.
Reallocate Talent & Proficiency Points: Players can reallocate points spent in Proficiencies and Talents, enabling changes to character customisation throughout the campaign.
New Enchanting System: Transmuting items now gives players chances at gaining powerful new Vials which allow enhancing of weapons and armour through the DLC’s new enchanting system.

Dungeon Siege 3: Treasures of the Sun is easily one of the best DLCs on the RPG market. It has everything a real DLC should have, a new and long storyline, brand new enemies and contents, higher levels, tougher enemies, crafting and three new ultimate skills. The DLC, which is taking place in the Aranoi Desert is about 4-5 hours long and regardless it's playing in a desert, it's well detailed, the story is well told, some of the bosses, or even minions are very-very challenging and the whole quest is very entertaining from the beginning to the end. The three new ultimate skills are also giving a great a change in the gameplay, which became easily my favorite add-on for the core game. The story fits well into the main storyline, however the DLC storyline doesn't have any effect for the ending of the core game, what I've found a bit unfortunate. But regardless of this Dungeon Siege 3: Treasures of the Sun is similar to Titan Quest's Immortal Throne DLC. It has everything what a DLC should have and it is a great add-on for a great game.

This is exactly what a good DLC should be like: - adding a story arc - more items - higher level cap - new areas, maps - add new mechanics If you had fun with the main game, then this will be a perfect fit for you!

Treasures of the Sun offers a new zone that was blocked by the plot in the original game, the new map based in a sand desert is very big and It has original enemies, also the best thing of this DLC is you can level up your character to level 35, so it is a good option grab this new content if you reached the maximum level in the standard game. It feels more like a little expansion for this price.

This DLC add like 6-8 hours of gameplay. Its a hole new map to explore, new creatures to kills, and the most important, more loot! If you played and enjoyed Dungeon Siege III, this DLC is a must. The Aranoi Desert is quite big, offering a some challenging boss-battles.

This DLC is longer than usual. In fact, I would say this is an expansion. All previous Dungeon Siege games have been expanded, so it is the turn of this game. Nevertheless, it seems that this time you will not be able to purchase a disc, so you should buy this digital edition. The description of the DLC is quite right.
