Average Content Pack

Sixth major expansion for Europa Universalis IV, The Cossacks gives the player the opportunity to use a lot of new units (Around 76), create hordes that can invade your neighbours for a lot of fun in the Eastern part of the world map. The pack also adds new models for the forts in tier 2 to 4. It's not a game changer but the pack does its job well. Buy it if you think the game lacks some Eastern love.

Not worth the price

This DLC is sadly a disappointment. First of all - it's just usual content filler that Paradox tends to flood their games with, but at the top of that developers didn't even fulfill their promise with it. They announced that DLC would add new units AND forts but it turned out new forts are only for fort upgrades, no new yier 1 forts, plus due to bugs very often they don't even show new models at all. Not cool, Paradox, not cool. As for the new units, there are 3 types of these. Black Sea Units look really good, same with Great Hordes, but I personally didn't like new European Cavalry models, especially for tier 1. They look cheap. In the end I'm not sure if this DLC is worth it's price - of course hardcore fans of EU IV will buy any DLC that comes to it, but for the casual games the sheer amount of not-needed DLC content is discouraging.
