Europa Universalis IV: The El Dorado Collection packages the customization features from the Nation Designer, the Age of Exploration and some inspired songs of exploration to provide a captivating and immersive experience.
This expansionís focus on Central America and South America introduces new religions whilst impactful theaters of exploration will challenge you with new decisions worthy of a king or conqueror. It's an expansion to thank the gods for.
Europa Universalis IV is required to play this DLC.
The addition of new features in this expansion enriches much the game. One of the main are the new religion mechanics for the Mesoamerican and Andean Nations which feature a set of reforms, which make these rulers more interesting to choose. The other main feature is the Nation Designer, where you can easily create a new custom nation and/or generate geographically radomised nations, whose localisation is 'mixed up', arround the world. The music is great, as we are used to in Paradox. Unit Packs are something cool if you fancy them. Overally, this expasion is very good!
The expansion El Dorado for Europa Universalis 4 adds two big things. One is the new world religion features. These features adds a unique dynamic to the game where you lose some of your progress to get other bonuses. These religions are fun to play and there is nothing quite like it. This adds many hours to the expansion and can easily justify it if you want to play as the Aztecs or the Inca or the Maya. The nation designer is the other major feature in El Dorado. It let's you create nations anywhere with unique national ideas. It's as much fun as you are creative so for some it will be a lot of fun and for some it will be really boring. I personally really like it. The way you can just add new things means i will never be done with the game though. Other features include the random basetax and custom start. These are both fun too but they aren't as big as the two major features. The unit packs all look glorious and really helps to set the setting but if you just want the nation designer and don't care about the mesoamericans or the south americans you can skip them. The song pack is a must because the composer is really good. Seriously you just have to get the music. It's so good for your ears.
