Small expansion for republic, but mainly National Focus

While res publica expands the gmaeplay for republics a bit, by adding factinos akin to the ming empire, the real feature of Res Publica is national focus, which allows you to focus your monarch point generation on one area. I.e. instead of getting a base of 3/3/3 per month, you change it to 5/2/2. As usual, I feel the expansion is overpriced, but well worth it, when picked up on a sale.

Good for it's price

This DLC adds new things for the Netherlands and Poland and the new national focus feature. The Netherlands now have unique content and that makes them so much more awesome. The issue with the Orangists is that if you put one in power you will lose a lot of Republican Tradition making it a very dangerous choice. This makes for good strategy and is therefore a good addition to the game. The Poland (and Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth) content is good because it effects not just Poland but everyone around them as they struggle to get their favorite on the throne. Poland wants their own candidate as he has better stats (most of the time) so things get interesting quick, especially for multiplayer. The National Focus allows you to get more monarch points in one category and that is something the game needed and it is the feature that makes you buy the DLC. I recommend purchasing this.
