Anniversary is one of the options that can not be ruled out!

I have to look at two points from this title. Those who are experiencing the "Fable" for the first time and those who played the first version. To say that "Anniversary" can attract new audiences to itself is somehow exaggerated, but it is definitely a renewal of great memories for its old followers. Albion is a vast and diverse world designed for surfing, which in fact forms the basis of the Fable gameplay, because the story-line is not specific and does not create complex choices or difficult situations for its players!

If you enjoyed fable at all or haven't played then get this game.

Fable is a must player game. This anniversary edition makes the game run smoother and look amazing. With the added graphics it feels much more alive. This game has a an excellent story and great humor. The action and combat are very fun and addicting, I love this game.

Excellent Remaster

The DLC that came out for this game is not worth your time or money as it's just extra weapons and armor you then have to purchase in game, but the game itself is excellent. It was everything I remembered Fable being when I played it on XBOX. I never played The Lost Chapters, but I think this game includes it because there was more content in this game than I remember from the original Fable. If you go in expecting a fun RPG and don't read all the hype there was around this game when it originally came out, you will leave very satisfied. Even though this game never reached anywhere near what it was supposed to be, it is still a masterpiece and far better than so many other RPG's on the market. The choice system is virtually useless as it doesn't affect the game other than changing your character's physical appearance and the things the villagers will say to you. There is a lot of content in this game and a really nice world to explore. The combat is very fun and there's not a dull moment in the game, even when you play as a child at the beginning doing menial tasks. The story is excellent. The game, though open world, feels very linear as you are always walking on a path and never given the freedom to explore a large area. You can just go wherever you want whenever you want as long as you are strong enough to survive the enemies. I do think this game is overpriced for $35, so I would wait for a big sale. It regularly goes on sale for 85% off. My reason for saying this is because Fable The Lost Chapters is only like $10 and Fable Anniversary is more or less just a graphical overhaul, which doesn't justify triple price.

An iconic RPG with moral choice and unrivaled reactivity.

Whether you are a longtime fan of the franchise or an unsuspecting newcomer to the tale, Fable: Anniversary is a game that is welcoming to all. With the overhaul of visuals, audio, and the implementation of Fable 2/3 combat, it is truly an amazing spectacle to behold. This was one of the first console RPGs where choices really mattered. Not only did they have an impact on the game and the story, but also visually on your character and how others perceived you. There was a large variety of customization in terms of gear, haircuts/beards/mustaches, and even hero titles and how NPCs would refer to you. Fable also stands above the rest because of the iconic soundtrack and the incredibly addictive Dark British Humor experienced throughout the game. This game is truly a delight and I recommend anybody to pick it up, especially if you never played the original or never experienced Lost Chapters. You will be satisfied by this purchase.

When you played this game (back in the day) on the original Xbox, you were viewed as the coolest kid in the class. Why, might you ask? Well because this game had set the standards for a lot of RPG's these days. Now, I know that morrowind set the ALL time standards for open world, but this game, THIS game set the bar of graphics AND gameplay, a game that was so enjoyable to play, and very pleasing to the eye! The game had awesome action, sidequests, an arena, a main campaign, and it featured your own character growing up! most games you'll never see your character age, but in this one, you do! It was a fantastic game back then, and this remastered edition is just as good!
