Movie-game totally worth it

Back when it was released the game was so different you probably never played anything like that. I mean, having a coffee, playing the guitar, having a shower or doing everyday's routine is something that sound so boring for a videogame I can't believe I'm saying that's what I loved when I played it. The story is awesome, and it is more like watching a movie than playing a videogame. It doesn't matter since there are lots of games out there featuring great mechanics. The plot is so good no matter when you play this game because you'll love it. This Remastered edition is a good excuse to make someone that never heard of this game go play it. Maybe not worth it for those who already have the not remastered edition. If you are looking for a game for someone who doesn't care much about videogames, this is a great choice to caught someone's interest.

A solid cinematic adventure that deserves a playthrough

This is a great adventure game, and probably one of the really well-done cinematic games in the pre-TellTale Games era. The voice acting, the soundtrack and the story are quite well done, the quicktime events are all there and you can clearly see the early stages of these elements as they are being used to create amazing gameplay experiences. Even though as other reviews have mentioned this game does seem to go off the deep end towards the end, the ridiculousness doesn't break you away too far and I felt the first half of the game is enough to solidify your immersion in the story that's being built around the 2 main characters. It was the first of its kind that I played and enjoyed it immensely. If you enjoy cinematic story-driven games, Indigo Prophecy is one of the earlier titles that deserves a play-through.

Amazing (and now uncensored) adventure game!

Pay no attention to graphics - even when this game was released it didn't look great. Still, it's not a game where it is important. It wouldn't be a exaggeration to call story in this game a masterpiece. The story keeps you in suspense from beginning to the end. It have really hard atmosphere and sometimes it makes you think about things. Beside story, there are many interesting stuff in gameplay. You will probably also fall in love with music. Trust me, if you love adventure games Fahrenheit will score high in your book. Also, due to being remastered edition, it's fully uncensored: not like before it was censored because of... I will let you discover that by yourself ;) Even if this game have few flaws you won't notice it.

A game worth both your money and time

Whilst there have been many complaints of numerous glitches and game breaking problems, I myself had no issue running Fahrenheit on my windows 7 computer. This game is old for sure, however the true point of a game in my opinion is the story, and that is what this game delivers for sure, both worthy of your time and money I cant recommend it enough, once you look past its dated graphics and play it for the true meaning this game lives up to it by delivering a enjoyable and deep story.

So close...

I am a huge fan of movies, so when I first heard of Fahrenheit I was hooked, for me it was the first time I could "play" a movie, not just watch it. The first half of the game is absolutely amazing, it has mistery, interesting characters and a very cinematic feel to it...then...then it gets crazy, the story is ridiculous and the whole dark tone is shifted into a crazy over the top action movie; but it remains entertaining nevertheless. One thing I didn't like is the fact that when there are quick time events, the buttons that you need to push are in the middle of the screen, blocking your view...Also I would like to point out the fact that there is almost no difference between this version and the normal one. In conclusion, if you like movies, play this game. If you like over the top action, play this game.
