Game description

Guilt is a chilling feeling…

Originally released in 2005, Fahrenheit (known as Indigo Prophecy in North America) was a breakthrough in interactive narrative, teetering between the worlds of cinema and gaming while also embracing them, carving its own unique genre in the entertainment landscape. This newly remastered edition features updated graphics, full controller support AND is based on the uncut/uncensored international version of the game.

With a rich multilayered narrative, innovative presentation, and a chilling musical score by famed Hollywood composer Angelo Badalementi, Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered serves as the definitive version of the supernatural murder mystery and (re)introduces the groundbreaking title to old and new fans alike.

Key features:

  • Extensive Replayability — With branching dialog and multiple endings, each playthrough of the game yields a different outcome.

  • Multiple Characters — Take control of the narrative through four different playable characters, each illuminating a different perspective of the story.

  • Fully Voiced Script — Every line from the extensive script is voiced by professional actors in English, French, German, and Spanish.

  • Cinematic Score — Fahrenheit features a fully orchestrated [check] score composed by Angelo Badalamenti, famous for his extensive work with director David Lynch.

Music is one of the greatest narrators of Fahrenheit's story, which brings feeling to its audience in a exact time in different parts of the game, bringing the beauty of hearing the sounds in the game to a high level. especially the people in voice section did a great job in the main characters, and their high abilities In this area, made the attraction of this game doubles and emotions are fully transferred to the audience. Eleven years after the release of the game, the artistic graphics are still attractive. Snow, cold and storms have made New York's bloody nights more beautiful. The white and grey colors drew the beauty of the New York's cold and the sadness of the story very well!

Like games like Heavy Rain and Beyond two souls? Then this is a game for you.

Amazing Game. I first played on this game about 11 years ago when it was first released on Xbox. I am so happy that Steam provided me the chance to play this amazing game again. You take the role of a regular human called Lucas cane living a ordinary life until the game starts. The game opens where Lucas is seen taking another humans life whilst being passed by Spoiler. This game takes you on a murder/mystery thrill ride with amazing game mechanics, voice acting and animation with a amazing story plot. Quantic Dream is a amazing company that also been responsible for titles such as Heavy Rain, Beyond two souls and a game called Detroit which is coming out soon. I can only dream to work for a company this good. Pros: Great Animation work Amazing voice actors Amazing Story plot Amazing Graphics Everything about this game is amazing Cons: To put it in a simple context there is nothing about this game that is bad everything about is just sheer genius. My Score : 10/10

A must play

Played this game back when it came out on the PS2. To this day is one of the most memorable games I played. It is definitely a unique experience, since it is not everyday that you have the option to play as an assassin and as a cop(s). Every person has their own well thought-out background story, fears and memories. Not just any other "thriller" game, You must try it if you can!

Truely unique experience.

You can say Fahrenheit Indigo Prophecy is like two titles in one, it has two faces - on the one hand is an absolutely visionary game, which surpassed its time, the first adventure with a truly film narrative. On the other hand, the chaos of the plot and the excesses of the plot left irritating scratches on this broken masterpiece. The game begins as an excellent thriller in Lynch's style, ending up as a weird, chaotic SF. Overall worth checking out.

Movie-game totally worth it

Back when it was released the game was so different you probably never played anything like that. I mean, having a coffee, playing the guitar, having a shower or doing everyday's routine is something that sound so boring for a videogame I can't believe I'm saying that's what I loved when I played it. The story is awesome, and it is more like watching a movie than playing a videogame. It doesn't matter since there are lots of games out there featuring great mechanics. The plot is so good no matter when you play this game because you'll love it. This Remastered edition is a good excuse to make someone that never heard of this game go play it. Maybe not worth it for those who already have the not remastered edition. If you are looking for a game for someone who doesn't care much about videogames, this is a great choice to caught someone's interest.
