Far Cry 3 Deluxe Edition

Far Cry has always been one of the most discussed games, since its very first appearance, which was a breakthrough in visual side of gaming. Now the third Far Cry is not any worse than the first was in its time. It is probably the best open-world, sandbox-like shooter, with much exploration, collecting items, crafting and upgrading weapons and excellent gameplay. Add to this absolutely excellent characters and great acting and you have one of the best games ever. And for such games I like expanded versions, and deluxe editions. If you like the base game, you will love the deluxe edition, which comes with four extra packs: The Monkey Business Pack, The Lost Expeditions, The Warrior Pack, and The Predator Pack. While some of them add some extra content for multiplayer, single player gamers will surely enjoy the rest of the content which makes an excellent game even more exceptional.

The game is great! I played it for 30 hours now and it still doesn't get boring. Far Cry's storyline is great. It has a lot of tension in it. The graphics is one of the best that I have seen, playing on GTX 780 Ti they look great! The main character is good! I like his personality. Also the bad guy! Oh My God! He is crazy as hell, and I like it! The option of customizing guns is a great addition to the game. Being able to add a silencer to the sniper rifle, helps me kill the soldiers from a distance, without them noticing me. The enemies in the game are balanced. The open world is great! There's a lot to explore, find new areas, animals, and relics. Overall the game is outstanding. It grabs your attention from the start to the end.

Far Cry 3 is one of the best games of the franchise, a really change from Far Cry 2. The singleplayer is okay, it has it's moments but it was kind of expected what's gonna happen next, pretty unique though. The co-op, really fun to play, doesn't matter if playing with randoms or with friends, fun is really guaranteed. The multiplayer has it's moments, but it's only good when you just got enough modifications to kinda beat your advanced players. Overall Far Cry 3 is a must-have if you like open world sandbox FPS.

Like it's preccedessor, Far Cry 3 is sandbox FPS with large island to explore and many things to do (hunting, side missions, simple traveling and sightseeing). Story are not great, but is rather interesting as character is not typical Rambo like one man army, but rather a simple city boy who ends up in hostile enviroment. You can sneak around and pick enemies one by one or try frontal assault and while sneaking is a bit better it is not the only possible solution. Graphics of course isn't as great as on first trailer but is good enough. There are some flaws like having too much money rather quickly (common problem for genre), but overall game is worth buying.

Far Cry 3 takes what worked in Far Cry 1 and 2 and strips out everything that didn't (like those stupid instantly respawning outposts from Far Cry 2). The story is one that makes sense this time around and you can actually follow, so big thumbs up for that. But forget the story, you'll get lost in the amazing world, hunting animals, climbing towers, liberating outposts and pretty much having a lot of fun in the vastness of the two islands offered to you by the game. Far Cry 3 is an amazing achievement, one of the best games of 2012, if not the best, a must have for any gamer. If you're contemplating which version to get, I'd say definitely jump on the Deluxe Edition, it has some cool bonus content that's worth the little extra you have to pay.
