Game description

"Far Cry 3 is important for the same reason as Far Cry 2. It's a shooter that considers shooters thoughtfully, both in the way they're designed and the way we play them, and then asks us to do the same." - IGN.com

"All of it is entertaining, and it gives you a sense that the island is little more than your plaything- a feeling that's only emphasized as your skills increase and you become a badass cross between Turok and Rambo. It's for that reason that Far Cry 3 comes across as a fresh experience and ranks up there as one of the best shooters of 2012." - worthplaying.com

Far Cry® 3 Deluxe Edition INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING EXTRA IN-GAME CONTENT:

The Monkey Business Pack: Meet Hurk and his explosive bomb-carrying monkey in four heart-pounding missions and get two bonus ways to humiliate your friends in multiplayer

Best Far Cry game so far.

Great game. A compelling story with interesting characters. Great variety of weapons and vehicles, it just needs the gyrocopter. When you start with Far Cry 4 and then play this, you feel there is missing some weapons and animals also. But the great story makes up for that. But there is still the classic open world format. Like climb a tower and it reveals a part of the map and a ton load of collectibles and outposts, but they're fun to do. If you're into open world games. I strongly recommend this game and you should buy it. When it is on sale.

Become a warrior!

"Did I ever tell you what the definition of insanity is?" PEOPLE! Far Cry 3 is one of the best games you're gonna play EVER & it's far more interesting than you think! Do yourself a favor and check some gameplay videos at Youtube! You play as Jason Brody, a young man that was in the Rook Islands with his friends. Turns out to be his worst holiday though. No spoilers, but you're gonna figure out what happens sooner or later. Here's what good stuff I have to say about Far Cry 3: First and foremost... Vaas! He's easily in my top 3 video game villains. Oh my, he's one weird, crazy guy that will definitely get in your head. I won't say too much about Vaas, I'll let the game do the talking about that. Map - hey, it's not Far Cry 2 that had a huge map and mostly was empty with nothing being in most places. Far Cry 3 got outposts (that you have to capture), loot/Secrets/Collectables, enemies lurcking around in various spots, plus animals (which some of them will be useful to search for, in order to craft stuff), and places that you have to go to in order to unlock parts of the map (also guns and such). Think of that like the Assassin's Creed leap of faith spots. You had to climb somewhere and then this was happening. Generally it's a big map, that has a lot of stuff. Guns - Big variety. From AK 47 to hunting bow. There's attachments & also skins for almost every gun. Don't worry about it. Vehicles - There are vehicles you can use, and also wings to fly. Oh yeah, not real ones, but you get my point. You don't? Wait for it then... wait for it...! Missions - Plenty of stuff to do, main missions / side missions. It's kind of lengthy, so, imagine finishing the main missions and then having side missions / challenges / capturing outposts / collecting loot/collectables... You're not gonna be done with it anytime soon. Enemies - Enemies are smart. Do not expect some stupid bots that will charge upon you like there's no tomorrow. No, they're made in a very nice way (good job, Ubisoft Montreal) and there are some enemies that will give you a hard time because they're more tough (they have heavy armor). Story - The story is really interesting. You're diving into a world where corruption & evil lives even in those far far away islands. The game's kind of lengthy in total, so, be prepared. And as I said... keep an eye out for Vaas. You're gonna like this guy (even though he's a villain). Gameplay - Shooting feels smooth, and so does the driving. It's made in such a way, where everything feels nicely made. I'm not gonna do the talking about this one either, I'll let the game lead this one too. Oh, did I forgot to mention that there are a lot of explosions? Multiplayer - Got a friend that plays FC3? Hell, why not join him? You can join forces with your friend and kill some enemies, and go through some challenges (because the multiplayer got some difficult parts too). Multiplayer got some special stages to try out. A Question: Should you get Far Cry 3? Absolutely you must. Why should you get Far Cry 3? Well, if an awesome adventure game comes out, with an amazing story and gameplay that also has been blatantly improved A LOT over it's previous release, why ignore it and not try it? In a game like this, that got really high ratings, that a lot of people enjoyed, why should you not get it and have some fun too? You see my point? Far Cry 3 will absolutely be worth the money, and at a sale it's without a doubt more than just worth it. Come on, become a warrior of the jungle! 5 stars from me. Easily one of the best games I played.

Good game.

Very good game, the freedom to explore the island and to fulfill the missions as it suits you (stealth or rambo style) gives a different touch. Recommended if you like sandbox and fps, along with customization of weapons and skills.

Look, it's good.... kinda

The story? yah, great. Wonderful. Barely completely fell apart 2/3 of the way through at all. It's a Ubisoft sandbox attached to a good game. Possibly forcibly. You die if you kill civvies; you hunt animals with a bow, you climb towers for no good reason - it's assassins creed 3, but good. The bad: Boring towers, boring gunplay, boring stealth, mandatory stealth, awful boss fights. Yet I still loved it. Everything meshed together perfectly: all the mediocre elements combined to make a legitimately incredible game. The performance is nowhere near perfect, and some elements of the port indicate a lack of care, but overall the game looked amazing, and the framerate hits were justified by the amount of stuff on screen.

If you like open world games this is a must have!

I got this game while it was on sale, since then I have spent lots of time playing it. Once I got the game I was already hyped for it, I loved it from the start, it really engages you into the game. When playing it I feel like i'm in the game for real. I love the story of this game, I have played the other parts of this game and this is my most favorite one. The graphics in this game are amazing considering that this game was released in 2012. The story is quite long with all the normal missions and some Deluxe Edition missions, even when you play all of them and finish the game completely you can play multiplayer matches with your friends, and you can go on community made maps and have lots of fun. Overall I really like this game and it's one of my favourite games of all time.
