This game is cheap, not good and plain bad. i do not know who put time into this, but it was not a lot of it. The system is severely broken and plays like it is still in an alpha stage, let alone a beta one. I would not let any true sports fan touch this with anything they have or be soiled by it. Unless you are into picking apart and exploring bad game, avoid this one like it's the plaque. Shovel ware like this is why sports gaming sometimes gets a horrible Rep.
There is something very painfully slow and arduous about playing this game. Wait. Sorry, there's a lot that's painful and arduous about playing this game. While it's mostly playable, there's a lot of difficult manoeuvring involved just to get in the groove of playing this game. Managing your team is more of a chore, than something you feel actually compelled to do here. It feels broken in quite a few places (UI, mostly), and the devs didn't really fix it like I thought they said (or implied) they did. I wouldn't recommend this game at all. You can probably wait to get it for free somewhere, then maybe try it out. But even after then, you'll probably just hide this game from your library just so you never have to see it again.
While there are a lot of both sport management and football games, I feel like there is a lot of trash too. There are a lot of issues and even going through the first preseason game felt like a chore. There is no initial draft - you are given a team and have no control over it. The devs say it is in in the latest patch - but that is only a lie. There is a category for it in the game recap screen but every time I've had a 4th and shot the AI decided to punt automatically. No 2 point conversions, onside kicks, and a lot of stuff like that. Quarterbacks really like to throw to receives that are well covered even if the other side is open, defensive backs have a tendency to either stay a few yards away from the receiver they're supposed to cover or just not cover him at all, and a lot of other issues that are bad. To end it, I will say that my favorite strategy - blitzing is not effective at all. The 3D view is also terrible. To end it, I will say that I most of these observations are based on the start of the game, but I bet all my money that it does not get better. It is extremely tedious and non-immersive to begin with. I do not even think this game has plus sides that are worth mentioning - except the 3D camera. Currently sitting at 2/10, as it could be an effective torture device if used properly on people with access to decent games. To sum it up, this game is unplayable in its current state, and even if devs are trying to fix it, Would not recommend to anyone except sadists. (In all seriousness, it can be played but is extremely boring to, so thats why I decided to give it this score)
