Dream Runners is a variation of Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams packed in the form of a race on small maps for four players. I do not recommend the game because it is no fun to play with the bots, and it's almost impossible to find any players interested in playing this wacky title. If you have a friend who is an enthusiast of similar games perhaps you will have some you out of it but if not don't bother.
A hesitant thumbs up. Its a great game which borrows a lot from the platformers in the series, but missed some of the polish. There are a lot of frustrating bugs in this game. The biggest issue is frequent confusion about which direction to run in. Often you are faced with a situation where there are no signs and the players are face in the wrong direction which is unforgivable an bug for this type of game. Sometimes the robots make noises like the sisters do which just seems wrong. The powerups are meh, and noone ever seems to be online, but overall the game is pretty good fun.
if played with friends. Yes, Giana Sisters Dream Runners is basically a Speedrunner clone, very different from other entries of the franchise. You need to compete with other players, using power-ups and gaining boosters in order to be the first one to reach the goal. Very polished and well looking, it's not a classic platformer, so know this when you buy it.
