Game description

"A sandbox of the simplest kind, Goat Simulator is a mental yet uproarious title whose silly antics will put a smile on the dial of even the most po-faced gamer." - Gameplanet.com

"Goat Simulator isn’t much of a game, but it’s a hell of a good time. The small but dense map is packed with tons of jokes and bugs that should be seen rather than talked about, and there’s at least a few hours’ worth of entertainment in goofing around with the jetpack alone." - IGN.com

Goat Simulator is the latest in goat simulation technology, bringing next-gen goat simulation to YOU. You no longer have to fantasize about being a goat, your dreams have finally come true! WASD to write history.

Gameplay-wise, Goat Simulator is all about causing as much destruction as you possibly can as a goat. It has been compared to an old-school skating game, except instead of being a skater, you're a goat, and instead of doing tricks, you wreck stuff. Destroy things with style, such as doing a backflip while headbutting a bucket through a window, and you'll earn even more points! Or you could just give Steam Workshop a spin and create your own goats, levels, missions, and more! When it comes to goats, not even the sky is the limit, as you can probably just bug through it and crash the game.

Disclaimer: Goat Simulator is a completely stupid game and, to be honest, you should probably spend your money on something else, such as a hula hoop, a pile of bricks, or maybe pool your money together with your friends and buy a real goat.

Key Features:

  • You can be a goat

  • Get points for wrecking stuff - brag to your friends that you're the alpha goat

  • Steam Workshop support - make your own goats, levels, missions, game modes, and more!

  • MILLIONS OF BUGS! We're only eliminating the crash-bugs, everything else is hilarious and we're keeping it

  • In-game physics that spazz out all the time

  • Seriously look at that goat's neck

  • You can be a goat

Reviews for Goat Simulator

Stupidity at its best

The ultimate stupid game, and it is brilliant. Goat Simulator is easy to be explained: Sandbox+unintentional glitches that become intentional+physics. Goat Simulator is as stupid as you may expect, with some interesting DLCs, updates featuring new areas and a whole community designing mods to make it even more stupid. It is one of those games every youtuber should have in his library, and it is the game you probably would have loved when you were 10 years old. But being a goat is not easy, and this Goat Simulator has its flaws. First, the optimization is far from perfect, and the visuals are not that good to demand a great PC. Second, the game is really community based, and it kind of depends on how well it does between players. Go for it. Goat for it.

Crazy awesome game with great DLC's

After playing Goat Simulator and completing most of the general tasks you can do in the game, I will admit it is a fun single player game but there are some problems with the game, and getting some of the DLC's can make up for the problems in the game. The game is known for lagging or being buggy due to the ridiculous explosions and launching of the goat you play as. The game is fun but it gets even better when you add Goat Simulator DLC's: GoatZ which is a undead goat simulator which allow you to turn people and animals into the undead aka zombies, Goat MMO Simulator, and finally a PAYDAY DLC which will bring tons and tons of PAYDAY fun to this goat simulator with new and different characters with new and different items. I recommend that you purchase this game.

Best game since Skyrim!

"It's stupid". But i like it. "It's buggy". No, let me get it straight, it's "full of features". "Why would you even play as a goat?". Why are you even in my house? The game is great, graphics are very good, gameplay of the game is so varied. The conclusion is: This game is fun, no matter how you play it. The first time i played it, i nearly chocked out of laughter. The best game i could find.

Fun to play, depends on the player

It is really fun for sure, but it's all depend on the player, if you like silly and wacky stuffs, this is definitely for you, some players would go back frequently, some will get bored after a few hours. The game's full of randomness I'm not sure how I should describe it, some bugs and glitches were even intentional left in because they're funny. Goat Simulators, a great game for ones who like maximum silliness and randomness, just beware that if you get bored of games quickly, the game may not have a lot of replay value for you.

Stupid, but fun

This may very well be the stupidest idea for a game I've ever seen, which may explain why I love it so much. It is one of those games that are insanely fun to play in short bursts or with friends over. You're essentially a goat that causes chaos throughout the town. Would recommend this if you're looking for a fun short game to mess around in when you're bored.
