Nice

It's been a while since a casual adventure game really impressed me and I'm really happy to see that a new developer managed to do that. Graven combines a very good presentation with solid item based puzzles, an interesting story and well designed hidden object scenes. The animation is pretty good even if it sometimes doesn't work perfectly. All the art in the game is just stunning though and every screen looks as good as the screenshots. The music is very good too and there are quite a few different songs so that you don't get bored by it. The story isn't ground-breaking, but it uses an interesting setting and never slides into absurdity. The voice actors also do their part to make the game quite immersive. While a lot of other casual adventures mainly have item based puzzles to unlock the next minigame or hidden object scene, Graven manages to really bring back some of the better item based puzzles from the 90s. This being said towards the end of the game it can be a bit tedious to find the next spot with a new hidden object scene as the very last chapter seems a bit too streched out. Still the game is really fun to play until the very end.

Well made puzzle and hidden object game with good production values

GRAVEN The Purple Moon Prophecy is a hidden object and puzzle game that was formerly an iOS and Android title that has now been released on Steam. The game has a much higher production value than many similar games with frequent cutscenes, decent voice acting to tell the story, good music that fits the atmosphere of the game, and interactions with objects in the games scenes. For people that enjoy hidden objects scenes the ones in the game give you a lot to find and for people that enjoy puzzles the ones included are good but nothing new or interesting for the genre. If you like games of this style this is a more unique story than most of them with higher production values than what is usually found and will be worth a look.
