The charming graphics lead through a whole bunch of cool worlds and levels in diverse styles, which keep you quite bussy while solving them all. Thanks to the direct, intuitive controlls it plays pretty neat and feels captivating over the whole game, so you can focus on letting the gravity shifts play with your mind. Also it includes controller support, yay! The learning curve is done quite appropriate even for a younger audience: It starts off quite simple and soon get's more advanced over the following levels. (Collecting every last lightning bug though can be a real challenge in the end.) One of the best parts however is the really nice soundtrack, that perfectly accompanies with the cute artstyle.
Gravity Island is a puzzle platformer that allows your character to flip gravity in different directions by finding switches, the game was originally released on the iOS. Controls work well, which is good as you are taken to an ice world after the tutorial levels that can cause your character to slip around. The game has a cute artstyle that might make you think it is going to be easy and for young kids but the difficulty does start to ramp up a bit as you continue playing. Levels are short, likely due to the game being created for mobile platforms, but there are a lot of levels and collecting all of the "Lumies" that can be found on each level can be challenging and can increase the length of the game. Worth a look for platformer fans.
Gravity Island is a casual 2d platform game. I really liked the visual style - it's clean and colourful. The game is easy to get into. It has a decent amount of levels and they seem quite simple - at least at the beginning. The soundtrack is good, too, I found it really funny. There is a variety in the world setting - there is an "Ice World", a "Fire World", a "Jungle World" and a "Dream World". The concept of playing with gravity as a main gameplay element is really interesting. Gravity Island is a cute, casual game. I'd recommend it if you like some entertaining little games to spend your time with.
