Don't miss this great piece of work!!

G2 is another good title in the race genre. Its quality is game-play is really high, but considering the fact that its in the last years of his generation they aren't trying to upgrade it. However, its experience for fans of this style can be appealing and exciting. You are a driver in the WSR tournament and the goal is to compete with different drivers. The more you get the better score, the more fans will be added, which means more success. Initially, given the limited budget you provide, you can buy a car and participate in low-level competitions. But gradually, with more success, you can buy newer cars and compete at a higher level. There are many licensed cars available, including McLaren MP4-12C, Dodge Challenger, Ford Mustang Boss 302 and Chevy Camaro SS. In the graphics section, as always, CM has been excellent. The game uses the "Ego Engine 3", resulting in very high detail in each scene, without dropping the frame (though, the frame is not on 60). The environments are very beautiful and eye-catching, but at the same time they have a great variety. The textures are at a very high level and the designers have not denied the slightest points. The lighting is stunning and reflects beautifully on the pavement or cars. Builders have used a technique called Ego Mapping to create light and create shadows simultaneously. Of course, in some cases, shading edges somewhat reduce the accuracy of the graphics, but the positive cases, and most importantly, its extraordinary physics, cover this objection. It can be said that in the sound sector, the makers have done their job without fail. Encourages and noises of audiences, car collisions, rubbing tires on the asphalt, and most importantly, the sound of the engine sounds was designed very carefully and the CM sound team performed well. GRID 2 was created by Jason Graves, which uses rock and roll and pop musics , which adds to the excitement of the tournament.

Passable - not the best

GRID 2 is an average racer. Not much more to say about it. You drive fast in cars. You overtake other fast cars. You drift sometimes and crash sometimes. The time mechanic is just a gimmick and the World Series persistent campaign can be entertaining for a few split seconds. The graphics look good and my HD monitor - but Morrowind looks good on my monitor. At the end of the day - GRID 2 is just not inoffensive or at all appealing. There are better racers out there but there are also worse.

Average racer and definitely not a proper sequel to GRID 1

GRID 2 is not a great racer back when it first release, the lack of race discipline variety, road car focus, average driving physic and weak track selection really kills the game. The driving physic in the game is more to the arcade side (more than GRID 1), the tail of the car is constantly out even the GT3 cars cant really take a corner steadily. The game modes included in GRID 2 are Live Route, Endurance, Time Attack, Race, Elimination, Touge, Face Off and Drift. Even with all DLCs, the game still feels empty in comparison to GRID 1. The DLCs adds 2 new tracks which is Spa and Bathurst, the DLCs tracks are great but 2 great tracks cant really save the poor tracks selection from the base game. As for the DLC cars, the AIs wont use them. You will always be the only driver driving it and there are a few weird car classing for the DLC cars. For example the Ford Sierra is class with the modern Volvo S60 for some reason. The drift cars can be used in normal racing mode but those cars lack of top speed. Another example is the Tier 3 cars, the Ariel Atom and Caterham SP300R could easily outrun the typical supercars like Aston Martin Vanquish and Mclaren 12C. I suggest getting GRID 1 will be a better choice, it may be old but it plays a lot better. GRID 2 will be suitable for you if you dont mind the drifty driving physics.

Good racer, now with all DLCs

Grid 2 is a great racing game. Sure, it's more on the arcade side than a realistic simulation, but in the arcade class it really shines. It can be both thrilling and relaxing, and can even be played in split screen mode, so you can enjoy the game with another gamer sitting next to you. And now the Reloaded edition gives you access to all the DLCs released so far - new cars, new tracks and game modes - they all can keep you interested in this game for even longer. Comparing the price of the game all the DLCs purchased individually and the Reloaded pack, it's obvious that it's better to get the whole pack instead of purchasing things individually.
