Hitman: Absolution is a great game. This time the story concentrates on Diana, one of the important characters in Hitman series and a "friend" of 47. The chapter in which the police rush into the junk house who dispose of marijuana is amazing and you must check it out. Also worth mentioning are the challenges that are another plus of the game. I recommend, game worth paying attention.
I still remember the times when Blood Money got released and was waiting for this game, only to be soul crushingly disappointed by Eidos going bankrupt. I was in tears, but thankfuly Square bought their IPs and this game got released. And it got a lot of bad rep for no reason, really. It changed the formula of Hitman a little and while there is still good old Hitman gameplay with finding and eliminating your target, there is much bigger emphasis on stealth, with some stages being 100% stealth and getting from point A to B without being noticed (or alive). Gameplay was best in the series and shooting didn't feel as awkward as in previous games, but sadly while the levels overall where bigger than in any game in the series to date, stages were cut in parts to make it possible to play them without pulling your hair out without being able to save (that's why most maps in Hitman games were small, because on highest difficulty setting/pro there was no option to save). Still, when there is killing the target part, it's as awesome and glorious as series can get. Some of the mission, though, while different, are still great, like shooting range or bar fight. There is also hilarious mission in court. While cut in parts, it's still a pretty big game and maybe biggest in the series to this day. You must approach it different, though, because it is not 100% Hitman game. As Hitman, it's ok, but nothing amazing, but as a stealth game it's really great and could be considered one of the best. At least it's not butchering like Conviction to Splinter Cell was. Strongly recommended for stealth game fans!
Hitman Absolution is the fifth Hitman series game. The game was created by Danish studio IO Interactive. We play in Agent 47, who is a paid killer. 47 is betrayed by the organization he was in, and his goal is to defend a small girl that the organization wants to get. We will have the opportunity to go missions in various places in the United States. Missions can be traversed in many ways, the freedom is great and it depends on us whether we prefer to do something quietly or for example to shoot everyone. The game has a very good creep mechanics, which makes the game even more enjoyable.
Absolution shows us all things, that we loved in previous Hitman's games. We have great freedom in exploring areas and eliminating targets - in every level there are some possibilities to kill certain people. The game give us great variety of stages combined with nicely designed locations - it looks really amazing, graphics is very good. We can adjust the difficulty of the game in order to play in way we like. Another advantage is long campaign for single player - it took me about 14 hours to finish it. Storyline in my opinion is nice and addictive. Excellent stealth game!
While not a proper Hitman game, it's still a completely competent, solid action/stealth shooter bundled with a bunch cool ideas, surprisingly great AI which actually tries to flank and surprise you in combat, impressive visuals and crowd technology, and a bunch of replay value. Fans of the original are probably going to hate it, understandably, but its ease of entry is a great place to start for newcomers to the franchise in preparation for the far more intimidating and imposing "open level" structure of the originals.
