HuniePop is a unique sim experience for PC, Mac and Linux. It's a gameplay first approach that's part dating sim, part puzzle game, with light RPG elements, a visual novel style of presentation, an abrasive western writing style and plenty of "plot".
After a pathetic attempt to try and pick up Kyu, a magic love fairy in disguise, she decides to take you under her wing and help you out with your crippling inability to meet new women. After a few dating lessons and some sound advice, Kyu sends you out into the world ready to take on the dating world and a wide cast of beautiful babes.

Over 250 unique items (food, drinks, gifts, accessories) that you can purchase, unlock, collect and give as gifts.
A beautifully composed soundtrack containing over 20 tracks of original music inspired by eastern pop, jazz and bossa nova melodies.
Thousands of lines of dialog, fully and professionally voice acted, complete with a unique character lip-syncing system.
Customize girls' appearances with unlockable outfits and hairstyles! The girls will also dress up for dates! (Or dress down afterwards...)
Collect nearly 50 stunning CG photos depicting the girls in various scenarios, including steamy bedroom scenes.
An addicting match-3 style puzzle dating system with it's own unique twists including upgradeable traits/stats, the ability to move any number of positions and special date gifts that have a variety of interesting effects on the puzzle.
HuniePop is a quite fun dating sim that, in spite of being quite simple, has some quite interesting mechanics during its dates, which play like a match-3 game with its own twists in the genre. Graphics are okay. Not the best I have seen, but definitely fit the game's spirit. The game's soundtrack is good, it goes with the game's overall lightheartedness. The voice acting is surprisingly great, as is the script, having some of the funniest lines I can remember in recent indie gaming history. As I have mentioned before, the dating sim aspect of the game is nothing to write home about, but the actual dates are quite fun: Your objective during dates is to fill the "affection" meter under a certain amount of turns. This is done by matching three tiles of certain types, with each girl having a preference for a certain type of tile. The player can also make use of "dating gifts" which will help them out. While it is a great experience to get at full price, since it takes around 10 hours to beat entirely, you might want to wait for it to be at least at half price. Get it if you want a game to crack you up through its dialogues and somewhat complex match-3 gameplay.
Well you're lucky because HuniePot brought you both in one. The game has a simple yet fun gem-matching system, on top of that it's a dating sim that rewards you for successfully played round of match 3 game. Even if you fail once, twice or more you will not get upset or annoyed because it's great for killing time. There are minor RPG elements as you're able to stack and waste currency on items. The graphics are rewarding, the game is entertaining, the voice acting is lovely, what else do you need? I've spent hundreds hours on this game and have not regret a moment, once you've come to a point there is a more challenging mode for hardcore gamers and brainiacs. Best $10 spent.
You will quickly be absorbed into this game by it's fully voice cast of girls and it's brilliant dialog options. Very shallow game for a dating sim but it's graphics, voice, girls and connect 3 mini-dating game hides it really well. A couple tips for new player for this game... 1. Get a pen and paper to record who and when you visited. 2. use the star and heart to quickly pick what the girls wants. 3. There is only ironman type auto save so be very careful if you going for achievements. 4. Quickly alt+tab and click X when you lose a dating game can save yourself a lot trouble. 5. Make sure there is a gold fish in the first couple days...(didn't show up for me when i going for the pick up legend until day 15...) 6. The mini-game is not time based so take your time and think things though. 7. there is a nude patch and use it. For a very simple and direct to the point game it did everything correct. Lack of game depth but still very additive and engaging. Fun service pictures were well done and games seems completely bug free. Achievement hunters beware.. this game does takes a while to get all the achievement and if you cannot alt+tab fast enough you may waste extra hours. 8.5/10 for a excellent weeb dating sim.
Huniepop Is a dating simulator for mature audiences, There is no actual story in the game, The gameplay is similar to candy crush during dates and outside dates its a dating simulator which you can talk to girls and know more about them or buy them gifts and food, The game is full of content and its very enjoyable but only recommended for adults due to mature content.
Bought a girl a carrot, gave her a frizbee, and then invited her back to my place to throw gems at her face to make her love me. This game is actually remarkably well made, the art is well done, its fully voiced and the dialog makes me chuckle. The 'dating' side of the game is ultra-simplistic (for better or worse) and not very deep, but the actual gem-matching gameplay can become quite challenging as the game progresses. If you love gem matching games, and don't mind it being mixed in with a quirky, amusing dating game, definitely give it a go. Be warned, it definitely has some... extreme... pictures that get unlocked...
