Hyperspace Invaders II is an excellent re-imagining of Space Invaders with a great soundtrack. The game is a vertical shoot em up where you will build combo chains by destroying enemies while picking up weapon upgrades and stars that temporarily give your shots the ability to spread to the sides. Instead of the usual stages you would play through you will select from the games music tracks and play until the songs end. In addition to having a good soundtrack and colorful design of the enemies something that makes the game so good and different than a lot of other shoot em ups is that it describes itself as a "bullet hell/invader hell," in normal bullet hell games you spend your time avoiding projectiles coming at you from all over the screen, but in this game you are avoiding huge amounts of enemies. You will have huge amounts of varied colored, shaped, and sized enemies moving around the screen in a variety of different formations, and the focus is on quickly destroying as many as you can instead of just trying to avoid them all. This is an excellent shoot em up, for a low price.
