Industry Giant 2 is a demanding and complex game. Unfortunately, the graphics did not stand the test of time. At least the game is working without problems on newer systems, the physical copy was already useless with win7. The game has an authentic educational value, without the compromise in the style of other sims. I played it in high school a long time ago. I remember that it seemed to me terribly difficult, but also incredibly addictive. I can say that this game has taught me the fundamentals of macroeconomics. I was not familiar with the topic of demand and supply, optimization of production costs, overproduction, balance of revenues and expenditures. Who says games cannot educate?
This is a re-release of a much older game, with added achievements, cloud save, and HD resolution. The game is basically a resource management game, with added mechanics (set prices, plan logistics, select the location of the stores). Graphically, this game really shows its age though. if you liked the non-steam version, you'll love this. If you never played it before, now is a great time to do so.
