Pink has never been more terrifying!

I really enjoy this game, there are so many games in this genre, with an almost identical premise. Top down, alien or zombie shoot em up, waves attack you, you survive the waves and move on. Simple, But this game took it up a notch, and stands above other such games on steam. There's a few weapons to chose from in this game and you always start with the basic one for each level, so you need to accumulate funds to get your new toy/upgrade it, 6 weapons to chose from total and 4 tiers of upgrades. The best thing about the weapons, is there isn't one that outshines the other weapons by too much, as in you are not always going to buy the same weapon for every level (well you could, but that's not optimal); as the level designs benefit from one weapon or other better. The Atmosphere in the game with the blocky engine, the sound effects and the background sounds makes it eerie, and a little tense, you can feel how desperate the situation is. Learning the basics for this game is very easy, moving around shooting, dashing, everything is intuitive and simple, and easy to customize, but the fact that there's no overpowered weapon from the very start of the game, and with the difficulty settings for it, this game is quite a challenge, has a lot of replayability value, especially if you like getting achievements. You feel rewarded when you finally get through a level, or dismantle a large mob. There is one massive downer though, the coop mode, despite being quite fun, with all the little pick ups, weapon interactions, dodging weaving and avoiding mobs; It is poorly optmized. There will be lag, rubber banding, freezes, and other forms of choppiness, no matter what kind of machine you're running this on. And that's very depressing, as coop could be this game's best feature... You can even see a glimpse of the multiplayer issues in the promotional video, the developers are well aware of the problems, there was a somewhat recent patch that promised fixes, but it didn't really do too much. Final Verdict, great single player game, hours of fun. Very lacking as a coop game. I have about 14 hours of single player to 1.5 coop, and if it weren't for all the problems those numbers would be reversed. Pros: -Easy to pick up -Great Look -Fun addictive gameplay, massive replay value -Fitting price tag, well worth the expense -Great Soudtack -Challenging Cons: -Multiplayer needs a lot of work.

Aliens go splat

this game is the creepiest (good thing) 3rd person shooting game I have played. It is all in 3D which just makes it creepier. There are 6 weapon which have 3-4 upgrades which can be used to kill aliens. There are lots of maps and in the game which allow more fun. I find the game extremely difficult since I'm not the best person in a shooting game (I got stuck on the 3rd map on easy). Each map has 3 different difficulties starting with easy which isn't that easy. The controls are easy to get the hang of but I forget that there are sprint keys which can help if you are about to get knocked out. The map is not dull and is rather exciting since it has a few lights and a few flashing lights with a lot of other props in a cool 3D style. This is probably my favourite 3D 3rd person shooting game that I have played.
