Upgrade, maintain and care for your Laika 601 Deluxe motor vehicle. Keep close attention to everything from the state of your tyres, the condition of your engine and even the space in your trunk. Repair each aspect of your scrappy little car and install unique upgrades to deal with the changing world. Everything from cargo weight to the condition of your carburettor will determine how your car performs on the open road.
The rise of capitalism brings an economical conundrum. Scavenge for scraps to make a small return of investment, or become a baron of the open road and smuggle contraband under the eyes of border patrols to make a sizable profit.
Developer Greg Pryjmachuk worked on the Formula 1 franchise from 2009 through to 2014. In late 2014, Greg began work on this new driving simulation featuring the fictional Laika 601 Deluxe car; reminiscent of the East German "Trabbie", it will need much love and care to keep it going on this memorable road trip!
You can drive. And not just some lamborghini - an old commie mobile. Changing parts is very common, as everything breaks. Lots of road tripping, but not enough. It may be in early access, but it does need more content until its a full game. Cheap and worth the money if you'd like to wait!
Welcome to a atmospheric game about journey by your "new" car. If you like automobiles like I do this game for you. Game is casual enough but even here you can face some issues. AI traffic can be dangerous so remember to use emergency gang. Also you should monitor parts health on your car. Follow the rules and be careful with the border crossing points. I didn't find any bugs for twenty five hours. This beautiful moment when you can drive wherever you want on your rusty old car. Some feel of freedom and satisfaction on your way.
Jalopy A Grand Journey East is a recently launched game that is still being worked on in early access. You start out by putting together a car with stock parts, being told what each of the parts does as you add them to the car, how to replace and check the tires, and how to maintain your parts. After putting the car together you can store items you need in the trunk then choose which route you want to take, with each displaying the distance and what kind of weather you will need to drive through. Once a route is chosen you set off with you uncle towards your destination. As you drive you can find shops, gas stations, upgrade, sell the drugs you found taped up in a box on the side of the freeway, and maintain your car. The game is still going to be in early access for some time and there are bugs that need to be fixed but so far this seems like a unique and enjoyable game and is worth a look.
Games learned us if there is adventure, it's probably fantasy, or pirates, or something based on popular tv series. Jalopy is different. It's not normal, for us gamers, when adventure is something like... driving a car? Yes, it's different kind of adventure. Driving on your own car, in which you can make tons of different modifications to affect performance of vehicle. While driving, you have this kind of nostalgia feeling, maybe because of graphics. As for now, this game is in early access - which means bugs might happens and it's not "full" game. The price might go up (devs on Steam page) but if you ask me, this game have a really big potential to be one of most interesting games lately. If you always wanted to throw everything away and focus only on road and your car, but maybe you can afford to do that in real life, then Jalopy is for you.
