Reviews for Killer is Dead - Nightmare Edition

I never heard of SUDA51 before, so this game took me by surprise. Even the title seemed ridiculous, but it was part of a bundle, so whatever. Then i actually tried it. I honestly have no idea what i saw, but i did like it. The whole thing is...well, others might say stylish, i will stay with bizarre, but in a good way. Oh yeah, and thankfully fighting is easier then it looks. Once you get into it, it's a lot of fun :)

SUDA 51 what else do you need to know?

There are two types of games, suda51 games and the rest, Killer is Dead is a port of the PS cult classic to the PC plus the additional DLC modes which makes this one a great deal, specially if you missed this one as suda games are sometimes hard to get on the market (at reasonable prices). Don't miss out and buy this one already!. Game Highlights: * Stylish Graphics * Easy control scheme * Fun story * Just the right mix of randomness

If you want to cut something...

Killer is Dead is a nice game if you want fast action. The graphics and soundtrack are good too, I fell in love with comic graphics style which it presents, I think it is unique. The story is maybe odd at first but you will enjoy it later, I'm sure of that. About the gameplay, it is easy, Mondo's skills are useful to clear the game, in fact, you will enjoy cutting everything that can move. If you are in doubt about buy it, I absolutely recommend it to you, you won't regret it and you will enjoy it a lot, Worth it.

A Very Fun Game From the Creater of No More Heroes

So what you've got here is another Suda51 game. If you're a fan of his work (NMH, Lolipop, Killer 7), then you'll probably also like this game. I very solid action, hack n slash that has good replay value. Controls and mechanics and I personally really enjoy the characters even though Mika is kind of an annoying schoolgirl archetype. Regarding Gigolo Mode, I know some people complain about for various reasons but I think it's okay because like a lot Suda stuff, it's silly, goofy, and shouldn't be taken seriously. Now the biggest problem with this game is the story. You could argue that it really doesn't have one but definitely it is confusing because I wasn't sure what actually happened on my 1st playthrough. That being said, buy this game because it is still very fun to play.

So crazy my brain stopped

Killer is Dead is one of those hack and slash games that needs to be seen to be believed. It makes even the craziest of games look tame by comparison. At first Killer is Dead looks like another hack and slash game that Suda made: No More Heroes. Just like in No More Heroes, you fight against various enemies in various locations with insane combos and fluid sword strikes, and it feels just as satisfying as it did in No More Heroes, except even more so since you don’t have to worry about using a Wii Remote. Killer is Dead’s visuals are close to being art, and the story is as absolutely insane as you would expect from Suda. Killer is Dead is the kind of game people have come to expect from Suda, and that is why Suda’s game are so popular and well received; it’s insane and glorious, and you can’t help but have fun because of it.
