Lara Croft GO is amazingly good for what was originally a smartphone game. To start off, I'd like to say that this game offers a curiously relaxing experience, with its chill music and beautiful, stylized environments. And that's what sets this game apart, really. It gives off a very comfortable atmosphere. The gameplay is about going through different stages while managing Lara's position to avoid enemies and environmental traps, all the while manipulating contraptions or making use of the unique characteristics of each stage to be able to progress. The level of challenge is just right since the game carefully introduces new mechanics in easy levels, then develops them in harder ones. It's "turn based" in the sense that the world only moves forward when Lara moves forward, giving you as much time as you need to think things through. There are also some collectibles hidden in the stages if you wanna go pixel hunting to unlock new clothes for Lara. If you find a golden vase hidden anywhere, you click it to discover a relic or a gem. It's a neat little bonus. Recommended for anyone who wants a simple, relaxing and extremely well crafted experience.
Lara Croft: GO is extremely my jam; it's 90% "take your time" Adventure of Lolo style puzzler, with 10% Hidden-Object Game thrown in for spice. I am really digging it. The PSX-era Croft model is just a funny bonus. Be aware, it is mobile-port-as-hell, but if you can get past that, it's a pretty dope puzzle game. No microtransactions and a free expansion coming, I have no complaints.
Juego impresionante, mucho mejor que Hitman Go, es una mejora en general, mucho mejor ambiente, juego, que te lleva por completo, y es para dejar de jugar. Necesitamos un Tomb Raider Go 2 CUANTO ANTES
So far I am enjoying the game. The main menu is like classic tomb raider on playstation which is neat. there are costumes you can unlock and right off the bat you have some interesting ones. The music is a good, I can see myself and others just playing the music and let there mind wonder or while traveling, maybe even listen to it while drawing?
relaxing but a little difficult with a controller. It's very sensitive to input and many times I've got myself killed because of this. Maybe I'm just terrible... Either way, I love the game. Perfect for unwinding. and the puzzles aren't that difficult so far.
