Interesting Experience...

This game follows Batman and Robin team up with other DC superheroes to fight The Joker and Lex Luthor. There are two very interesting derivatives from the classic LEGO formula present in this game: the presence of an open world and the inclusion of voice acting. The open world is simply superb; it is hard to resist roaming around Gotham City hunting for golden bricks and characters. The voice acting, while innovative, is somewhat pathetic. The dialogue is rather childish, while the intended audience is evidently children, may have drawn away older gamers (I personally alomst ditched this game due to the voice acting). The story levels also somewhat seem to be tacked on as an afterthought. While they follow the same LEGO formula, they seem rather bland. Some of the levels take a long time to complete. In my opinion, the open world almost makes up for the many faults of this game. Almost..

Dawn of Justice

The FIRST ever Lego game to include voice acting. The FIRST ever Lego game to have Superman. The FIRST Lego game to incorporate a free roam map. It does so many things that have changed the series for the better. It might have been the first, but it is probably the best! The voice acting is superb, the story is fantastic, the free roam was amazing. Just the fact that if you play as supes and his theme song comes up from the Reeves movies is by itself, amazing! The same formula is still here, meaning you break things, things break you, you buy things, and then you collect hidden items. This is the first Lego game where I did not care so much for the hidden goodies. It was about exploration in the Lego Gotham City they provided. The best Justice League game ever...even better than Lego Batman 3 in many ways.
