If you always enjoyed the silliness of the Lego series, coupled with the setting of Marvel, then this game is for you. Lego Marvel is what happens when you try to create a story filled with truckloads of Marvel Characters, From the Avengers, the X-men, Guardians of the Galaxy, and even Stan Lee (with multiple Cameos!), each team has their own part in either the main story or the side quest you'll play. Mechanics-wise, there's enough variety to make it fresh, while not so much that you get overwhelmed by it. Most of the time it's obvious enough exactly which one to be using. If you're a fan of completing games, then this will set you going. Not only is there piles and piles of collectibles (characters, vehicles and alternate costumes), but the game has a feature that helps you track where are they located (you'll have to buy them with in-game studs - currency, that is), which helps immensely when locating them. If you've enjoyed Stan Lee's appearance in the movies, don't worry. He appears in every map, and even in the free-roam. Just remember to complete the game first. The only thing that'll bug you is that you'll have to skip some collectibles when running your first playthrough. Enjoy the story, don't think about collectibles until your second "free play" run, because it's set to not allow you to get them all in the first run, since you're only allowed the story-line characters. Big thanks to "Free play" when you're running through the story/side-quest again. The game actually auto-selects some characters whose powers you'll need to get at collectibles, so instead of only the 2 that you always have, you can swap quickly to at least another 3 more. You still can select whomever you want if you like. Overall, solid game, with lots of collectibles. It was meant for kids, but don't be surprised if you get hooked onto it.

I love The Avengers comic series, but always thought the movie was just big dumb action. This game however, somehow does The Avengers better. The portrayals are more accurate (while being kid-friendly), the world is huge and full of references, and most of all, it's a blast to play. The lego game series never ceases to surprise me.

Lego Marvel: Super Heroes is a action game which takes place in New York. This game features the Avengers and lots of other Marvel characters, including Stan Lee. The story is about the Avengers trying to stop the villains, who want to destroy the world, and then joined by other Marvel super heroes to help them. The game has the option of Free Roam, where you can go around New York and unlock characters, vehicles and many more! The game itself is really good, the graphics are great, also the soundtrack and the gameplay. The only thing that is not so good is the mouse and keyboard setup, but if you can connect a controller you are ready to play! I would recommend this to all the Lego lovers and mainly the Marvel comics fans, who would love the story behind it. Overall, the best Lego game I've played.

Lego Marvel is undoubtedly the best lego ever made in history, at least for me. The game, like all of the franchise, have beautiful graphics that make anyone fall in love, and very funny characters that bring a lot of humor throughout the gameplay. In my opinion this is the best lego because it joins all the superheroes in one game with several fun missions to play, yielding a really great time of fun. And unlike the film, the game brings Spiderman to do various missions with. I recommend this game for everyone, from children to adults, this game is not too young to play and can make a person of any age smile.
