The DLC package contains 2 special resource cards which can be redeemed for a small boost to help Harkyn get started:
Attribute Points Card
Play this card to achieve 2 additional Attribute Points.
Potion Card Play this card to achieve 1 additional health potion.
The resource cards will be added to the inventory of each of your characters / savegames as soon as the DLC is installed. By using a resource card you will be rewarded with the corresponding resource and the card gets destroyed.

The Foundation Boost DLC is the most insulting kind of DLC: it asks for money to provide extra stats and an extra potion. This DLC is the worst kind possible, even worse than horse armor. In a game like Lords of the Fallen that prides itself in its difficulty and Souls-like combat, stats and potions are priceless commodities that are necessary. Finding a new potion bottle should be a rewarding experience, and the rush you get from receiving a new stat point to make your character stronger is supposed to be one you struggle for. But this DLC just asks you for money for these things. It cheapens the experience and the game. Do not buy the Foundation Boost DLC under any circumstances. Only use it if you receive it as part of a game bundle, but do not buy it. Ever.
