Jimmy’s Vendetta introduces a new character to the world of Mafia II where players see the world through the eyes of Jimmy, a mercenary. Jimmy is the guy the other guys call when they need to finish the job.
Players will get their hands dirty helping Jimmy clean up other people’s messes as they deal with the Italian and Irish mobsters that reside in Empire Bay. As players progress, dozens of new quests are unlocked, including assassination and timed vehicle pursuits ending in dramatic shootouts and explosive car chases. Execute with deadly head shots or charged explosives, and rack up points for precision-timed vehicular power slides, lofty jumps, and supercharged velocity. Multipliers and combos add bonus points to overall scores that will be immediately posted to the new online leaderboard system, providing extensive re-playability as players work to rise to the top of the ranks.

Jimmy's Vendetta DLC is an addon for the game Mafia II, including a new quests and the players can use another character to play them, which is really cool. The quests are very good, but they get really repetitive after a while, but anyway this is better than the other DLCs the developers have made, since it actually has more good stuff like missions. I don't think it is worth its price, but anyway it is cool to have it and be able to play it, especially for the new story behind it. I just recommend this to those who want a little more added in their game and really want to spend eight bucks on it.
Jimmy Vendetta is a DLC that adds a few hour of gameplay to Mafia 2. The game is quite boring: you must complete the various mission one after the other until you reach the end of the game. There isn't a story like in the main game and the missions are repetitive and the timer is really annoying
The whole reason Mafia II failed to garner as much respect from gamers as its predecessor is, in my opinion, the lack of replayability. Jimmy's Vendetta adds that, although those easily bored by missions that are fairly uniform and unimaginative may want to avoid a purchase. Basically, the DLC just adds things like car stealing, killing, racing, and chases. You're timed and given rewards for successful completion and such things as massive drifting, jumping, and whatnot. The replayability is trying to better your times and scores, and as such begins to dull after a while. Empire Bay is still the same city as it was, with nothing new added. You even reuse some of the save spots as the stock game, which to me feels a little tacky. Jimmy is a mercenary, after all - you'd think he'd want to avoid being near the same haunts as gangsters. I'd say Jimmy's Vendetta is more value for money than what you'll be getting out of the car/suit packs, but make sure you know what you're getting into first before taking the plunge.
This DLC isn't totally useless like the others, but it adds new missions, Yes, at the end of this DLC we will be bored about the repetitivity and we will not totally satisfied, but it's something different that will add some hours on the game. I recommend it only to the fan of the game however.
The base game is short and lacking due to the many and plentiful dlc that comes along. The game feels unfinished and unpolished but that is completed with all the dlc. While it seems like mafia2 tries to copy how dlc is worked in games such as Dragon Age: Origins, it utterly fails. This dlc feels like a side quest rather than a dlc. It should have been in the base game instead. For ten dollars, you get nothing but boredom.
